Watched possibly every version of August Twelve on TH-cam, there are a few notable live versions but the 2nd half of this performance has got to be one of my favourites, never has the first few notes played by Mark sounded this achingly delicate and warm.
A definite Curtis Mayfield moment there. Very nice doesn’t do it justice but that’s the best I can do.
I don't think i've ever loved a piece of music as much as i love this, and i've loved a lot! Tears of joy in my eyes watching and listening to this.

Every time I watch Khruangbin live I feel like DJ is bored out of his mind. I know his snare is the backbone of most of their songs, but....I always want to hear him go off on his minimalist set.

I've watched as many as i can find and i think so! The Pitchfork performance gets a little heavier in places, but i think the sound and the mix here more than make up for that.
