In Bangladesh we called it "shushok". They are very friendly . Oneday I found one shushok in a canal attached with padma river . In that time i was very scared . but it didn't harm me . Than I feed her some small fishes . Fewyears ago fishermen killed shushoks if they stuck in the fishing net . But things has been changed now . Killing shushok is a national crime in Bangladesh .So we can see more shushok now than years ago .
That's Susuk..but sometimes, local people call them as sishu or sushu..and yup they have become exotic animal because of us, humans as the possess really teasty meats (though I never ever have tried one, honestly, even don't want to have actually).
Sisu dolphins , I spotted gen while I was in my village , at that time my grandmother died , when I left for some free time , I saw them and didn't believed but locals said It's not fake it's real . Spotted 3 different groups
unfortunately Indian rivers are so dirty that these beautiful creatures cannot thrive in them, I wish they could migrate north towards Himalayan terrain so they can survive the river pollution in India
