This one is gorjuss as well and I hope you always recap all the squares because it looks fantastic when you do it! Oh I have and adore the image on block 6 I’m putting together a journal! Ha, I have 6 going!! Hanky in block 5 is beautiful! Put a pin on my cameo to wear on my sweater to church but to sick to go! Maybe next week. Tyfs🤗👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥰😷🤒
Oh no!!! Get well, lady! Take vitamin C and watch Miss Marple. That always makes me feel better. Lol. Can't wait to see what you're working on ! Take care, sweetie! xx
Beautiful! That is going to be such a stunning quilt!!!! Love your stitching and how you tie in the colours, also with regards to the other blocks you did. My goodness, this quilt should be going to a museum for people from all over the world to admire! So gorgeous. I'ld be afraid to use it and get stains on it. Absolutely stunning work, Lauretta. Do you have a tutorial on how to bead around a cameo? Absolutely love that. The one you gave to Jeannie was so gorgeous too. Big hug & blessings, Lenneke
Thank You! I've never had anybody say I should have a quilt in a museum before! What an extremely wonderful thing to say. So sweet of you. I do not have a tutorial on beading around the cameos. I will try and figure out a way to film that. Tfw! XX
You're very welcome! I'ld love a tutorial on beading around a cameo. Would be great if you could do that some time. I haven't been able to find any video on that yet here on TH-cam. But no pressure! I know you're busy with other projects, so just sometime in the future would be great. Hugs.
I'm new to this. Do you put these blocks together to make a full quilt or do u use for journals or lace books? If a full quilt than how do you display it. The squares are so beautiful.
Thank you!! You can use crazy patch squares for all sorts of things. Journal covers, pillows, purses, etc. If you put a bunch of blocks together you can use it as a wall-hanging (if it's not too heavy or too big). The Mucha themed quilt that I did, I display at the foot of my bed as a "bed runner." (Go look at that video if you get the chance.) The bigger ones, like this quilt will be, I will display on a guest bed that won't get used. You can't really sleep under one, so they are mostly ornamental. Thanks for asking. XX
Beautiful. Can't wait to see all of it.
