Great video, I'm in the market for something like that as well, Could you share how it’s holding up after these 11 months? I’m particularly curious about how well the materials have weathered the seasons and if there have been any maintenance challenges or surprises along the way.
They have help up remarkably well! We did take the canopy part off for the winter and stored them since our seasons can be so harsh with temps and hail. We will try and upload a video or short on how they look and are holding up this summer. Thanks for asking, we appreciate comments!
I enjoyed watching your explanation of putting together the pergola and hope you're enjoying it. I'm thinking of purchasing this pergola but will want to modify it by using brackets to support against the the house and not use the post closest to the house due to my patio door opens at the end corner post and the other post would be visible through the windows. Could you tell me what the measurement is from the top decorative piece extending to the center long beam the canopy attaches to. Thanks, Greg
Well, I thought I could add a photo but I can't. Can you give me a better idea of the measurement you need. Would it be from the corner post to the center strut? These canopy's were 13' wide each, I believe but they do offer different sizes. Sorry this wasn't more help.
How many inches from the center of the 13 foot beam out to the tip end decorative trellis part that the canopy slides on that sticks out maybe (1 foot). I'm considering cutting three of the post about a foot from the top and securing it to the house with wall brackets and one post resting on the ground. I've looked at the 9.5 x 13 pergola that goes flush to the house and trying to decide if the 10 x 13 that you have will work better based on my windows and where it can be bracketed.
@@gregwhitten3577 The measurement from the center to the end tip is 78". The measurement from center to the end of post is 74 3/4". Hope this helps. Thanks!
