hades is actually a great guy. the movie did him dirty to the point i wouldnt be surprised if it was written by Zeus himself.. hades actually lets herc take his dog as long as he was good and didnt let the dog get hurt or anything. i can imagine it being like someone comes and asks you to walk your dog... he doesnt hold his godly statues over herc or try to trick herc into losing his soul or anything...
Movies always do Hades dirty, making him a Satan-like character. In all of Greek mythology, Hades is easily one of the nicest figures.
Yeah, Zeus is awful. But hades isn’t great. I mean he literally raped his niece (Persephone) after kidnapping her (she did not want this). On the other ha d it was Zeus who suggested this so....
Honestly, I think they jad to rewrite the whole tale just to avoid discussing adultery in a kids movie. That's the problem with making a story about one of Zeus's kids.
The biggest lie Disney ever told was making Zeus a loyal family man.

Hades is a literal Greek god
(Also, in the actual myths, hades was actually a decent person, much better than Zeus (who had tons of affairs and punished Prometheus by having a giant eagle eat his liver every day just because he gave fire to mortals), and was actually quite kind, even letting Hercules take Cerberus as long as he returned him unharmed)
If you're basing these characters on their mythologies you're gonna have a bad time because Disney definitely didn't.

Hades was actually a pretty good dude; by all accounts he was a fine husband to Persephone and was surprisingly generous to visitors in his realm, even going so far as to let a guy straight up walk his GF out of the underworld on the condition that he not look back at her until they were out. People also forget he was the god of wealth, meaning that he was filthy rich and could make you filthy rich if he favored you.

Trying to fistfight a constrictor is probably the worst thing you could do. Those things can crush MUCH bigger animals than humans. The moment you get tangled up with it, you’re finished.
