I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my son in two months ago of this horrific cancer. They must find a way to catch this cancer early. My son didn’t feel well for years and no doctors caught that he was feeling sick because of pancreatic cancer. The suffering is horrific. We must fight to find a cure
You are a lovely man, telling your story I am nearly three years off losing my husband from terminal, inoperable liver cancer. I am so sorry for your loss, my husband had a hard time with the DNR form because before treatment he felt ok, the only symptom was extreme tiredness, it was found by a routine scan, he had palliative targeted chemo, he had a two year two month battle, for most of which he was really ill. God bless you and your family x
my best friend had intermittent stomach and back pain for months and months without a correct diagnosis until a scan revealed shadows and then she died 5 weeks later. It was such a shock to us all.
I can see the devastation and heartbreak that this has caused you and I applaud you for speaking up so soon after Caroline's untimely death. You are doing Caroline proud by helping others.
You are such a sweet brave man, thank you for sharing Caroline’s story. Absolutely devastating but will give other-people a better understanding of this horrible condition and could help save lives
I’m so very sorry for your loss. You are an excellent advocate for NIPANC. MY BROTHER DIED 7 years ago from pancreatic cancer, after having intensive treatments for over a year along with a trial through Johns Hopkins. His was inoperable also. A vicious, horrific disease. Thank you for your really beautiful and Sad video.
Today is 9/3/23. I just read your story of your poor lovely. Thank you for having the strength for making this documentary. My brother died 4 years ago with pancreatic cancer. We had him on home hospice until 2 days prior to his passing. It was extremely difficult to see my brother in such pain. I miss him dearly, but am greatful that he is no longer in pain. Shame on those Drs who think their patients pain is a strain or sprain. People know when something is wrong in their bodies. Demand scans. Not just bloodwork. It could save your life.😢💔🙏🏼☣️🎗
My GP neglected me since April 2022. Back then I was told to take senna for 10 days and contact them again if the condition remains the same. I have been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer only in December 2022. I am going through unbearable pain. I lost 3 stones. Haven't slept since end of October 2022. I went to A&E in November and the young doctor just sent me home saying it should be done by my GP. I am shocked with the standard of service.
How are you doing? I read your comment on TH-cam. My father had pancreatic cancer and I have ipmn...which are cyst on and in my pancreas. I'm scanned every year. If you have a y children have them to get checked yearly. I'm so sorry for your co diction and your pain. Good Bless you
This Man LOVED his Wife……..He’s telling the story and like ALL STORIES there’s a END ………that END HURTS the WORST……..Anyone that who loses a love 💕 to CANCER it’s BIGGER than people think ……YOU just don’t get over it……….
You just broke my heart. This has to have been extremely hard to tell. You clearly loved your wife so much. Maybe your story can help someone out there in some way. God Bless You. 😥
I’m seeing this today. My 44 yr old daughter was diagnosed stage 4 with metastatic liver about 8 weeks ago. No symptoms, found by accident, otherwise perfectly healthy. We are stunned and I see that in you even at the end of Caroline’s story. I’m so sorry. They said we can try chemo but it probably only adds a month or two to her eight months. We will fight as hard as we can which is why I’m looking at everything I can find. I thank you for sharing. God bless
Husband passed with pancreatic cancer had diagnosis few hours after attending a&e had mentioned I thought it was pancreatic cancer after a Google of symptoms. A Whipple was carried out even though was wrapped around portal vein! But spread to liver lungs and spine.Survival rate not changed in 40 years .. Was traumatic as I cared for him at end of life and dealing with ptsd as lived with anticipatory grief 😔 Thank you for sharing and so sorry for your loss 💜
THank you for sharing the heartbreaking story of your wife's untimely death from this terrible disease. The love and loss are palpable and the information you share is invaluable.
Problem is, you tell the doctor your symptoms and they ignore them. I was going to doctors for a year and they kept blowing me off. Finally went to the hospital, stage 4. That was in January 2021, I'm still here for some reason...
This was the GP's fault as they kept waving her off, if only they took it seriously and sent her off for scans earlier than it could have been traced early.
My dad is going thru that right now. My dads GP did not order a scan for him after complaining of constipation and abdominal pain for 7months. Also he had a language barrier and did not get an interpreter. All of this was in the charting by the doctor. Now my dad has stage 4 pancreatic cancer that spread to his peritoneal area.
Same happened with my sister. She had previous cancer in the Brest 2021. She went to the gp with back pain for 6 months couldn’t walk and said it was muscular. Asked for a mri and they didn’t send her for one or did bloods. She went private and they did a mri she had cancer in her spine. She is in hospital now the cancer is in her spine, ribs, liver and back of neck. Now it’s in curable. It’s treatable but now in curable. The oncologist phoned the gp and complained
Me too. Lipase enzyme was 110 higher than the highest regular normal. Asked for CT scan. Was advised not to because of radiation. Cost me almost 3 months to get a possible cure. Kaiser still slow walking anything for me.
Wow . She died so quivkly.! Poor lady . I just wish the doctor paid better attention in the beginning. Just to give her pain meds etc , even though pancreatic cancer is fairly untreatable. Im sorry for your loss.
So sad. I’m sorry for your loss. I’m looking into it because my aunt died of it and I feel strange. I have a doctor appointment soon. All the best and God bless you all with any type of diseases. 🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing this heartbreaking story. My mother passed with this disease, and my sister was just diagnosed at Christmas 23 with a similar story to your wife.
It seems Drs do not know what signs to look for? And with this Cancer it is quick and deadly, time is the essence. Heard lot stories like this where Drs are concerned. Not good enough.
I'm having some symptoms of this. I have pressure under my right rib and down into my side after I eat. I've been having slow digestion and steatorrhea. I don't have jaundice and none of the pain is severe. I've been having this and severe brain fog for about a month. I had a CT scan and blood tests all which came back normal. I thought I may have pancreatitis but I don't have kidney failure or anything and I'm still eating.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your wife Caroline 😢 you are being so brave in sharing Caroline's story and the work you are doing in research 🙏 from Scotland
My “Lipase” is elevated, I’m very fatigued and I’m losing weight without trying since November 9, 2023. I have insane itching, wounds that have not healed since August. My Leukemia test was negative. I have back pain a lot. One of my doctors wants me to have a ultrasound but my Gastroenterologist says he doubts anything serious is wrong because the rest of my blood work is fine and a normal CT scan in September 2023. My lipase has never been elevated before. I am concerned and I contacted my PCP but have not heard back.
So sad 😢 I'm sorry for your loss 🙏 You are brave to share your experienced and heartache. I am a nurse and my hubby is a military veteran medic. My hubby had accidental finding in his pancreas just because he's had gone through CT because he was going to have his hernia repaired. No symptoms n bloods were normal. Surgeon diagnosed him with non functioning benign PNET through gastroscopy. He's had distal panc and spleen removed 2023 of Oct via laparoscopic. and on Creon. He has recovered but still getting pain in operated site from time to time but his BGL is now playing up (high).
My beautiful beautiful daughter died 2 yrs ago of pancreatic cancer. She didn't go to Dr. She did have back pain. I think she wanted to keep it from us, she was a highly qualified nurse. She asked us to take her to A and E on Wednesday, was diagnosed on Friday, came home Friday and died Wednesday. My heart hurts so very much. She KNEW pancreatic cancer was a death sentence for her as she was a nurse. She knew she was dying. I broke my heart and asked her "why you darling"? And she said why NOT me mamma. Part of me has gone with her, she was beautiful, kind and my life. God bless all sufferers and their loved ones x
If you think about it majority of human population has chronic inflammation that leads to some form of illness either heart attack, diabetes, alzheimer and cancer. In many cases cancer patients say that no one in their families had cancer, they ate healthy and yet they got cancer. Then they go through the radiation in order to save their lives. Some die regardless, but there is a number of patients who report after couple years that their cancer spread to other parts. Cancer is not a bug or virus, it cannot spread. It requires favorable conditions like inflammation to develop. Cancer treatment focuses on symptoms, it doesn’t resolve underlying condition. It never does and it never will. Eliminate inflammation that leads to cancer. Inflammation is caused by food, sugar, starches, and all forms of carbohydrates including fiber. These things do not belong in human digestive tract. Red meat, fat, fish, eggs, butter are non inflammatory foods.
Think gp need better training in spotting the signs of cancer. Many cases gp are neglectful and don’t send people for scan etc that could have saved them
I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my son in two months ago of this horrific cancer. They must find a way to catch this cancer early. 1 gram of cannabis oil a day for 60 days. We have cured 4 pancreatic patients out of 4. I'm very serious.
So sorry to hear, how is she doing today?
Is everything ok ?

These stories should be required watching for trainee gps.
Then they can answer questions on how outcomes could have been different.

Sadly GP's dismiss so many symptoms, in this day and age there is so excuse.

I am so sorry 4 ur loss,My Condolences🙏🏾🙏🏾
In America a CT is done within minutes of coming in the ER or Dr.
ER yes but not always regular dr.
Thank you for sharing 🤗
Thank you for your story, it will help an awful lot of people. God bless you all xx
My heart goes out to you and your family.

PC is an insidious disease , creeps up then , BANG. I am so sorry for the both of us. Thankyou for sharing.

Have you been checked for gallstones?
Bless you Sir, you are so brave for telling your story. Thank you.
Thank you ....
This is ridiculous that a CT scan was not done earlier. I am a radiologist reading er films and we constantly scan for even mild abdominal pain
Exactly what I was thinking. I’m a CT technologist in the US.
I'm a nurse and thought the same. CT I'd pretty standard to get any kind of diagnosis.
Good good man
I am so sorry for your loss. It’s obvious how much you loved Caroline. I lost my dad to this insidious disease so I understand what you witnessed.
Thank you for your courage to share your story.
I’m so sorry. A friend just passed of pancreatic cancer.

My condolences and sorry for your loss 😢could you tell me how old she was?
I looked up the obituary online. It says she died 2012. He said 2011. I’d believe him.
💜
How severe is the back pain and belly pain?
Omg this is so sad 😢
During WWII the British would stop to have tea during a battle giving the Germans the advantage. My mother died of pancreatic cancer.
