just picked up a 23 RSV4, bike is nuts. I dropped a tooth with the front sprocket and I haven't had any issues. I call BS with you dealer on that issue also. Cheers from California bro!
You 100% need the lightech chain adjuster. You do not need to make blocks. The chain adjuster is the best upgrade I have made. It will use the full range of that slot in the swing arm.
I have a 21 Tuono from new your dealer is my closet one but I go to Peterborough as the service ect is that much better never had an issue but I have friends that use your dealership and all have had some sort of issue with them . I know it’s a Tuono but my plastic fit ent is a hell of a lot better than you show we put up with it because the V4 is the best engine imo ride safe hopefully not in limp mode 🏍🏍👍🎉
May be a bit late to the party..... I have a 2023 tuono 1100 V4F no complaints other than it keeps going in to Limp Mode happened to me 3time on the last time the dealer contacted aprilia and they said this happens a lot and they are aware of this problem and replaced my dash I have put in about 800 miles and all is well. Hope you don't see limp mode again ever very dangers situation when at high speeds
@@YamapriliaService Specialist recommendations for you: Aprilia Performance Workshop (N) or Bikers World (S) where you will find the best Ape masters.
@@YamapriliaThe fuel vapour smell is due to Mr Binouli who's principle states that higher speed of air flow means lower pressure. Thus at high speed your drain pipe has the lowest pressure pulling the fuel air mixture out. I suggest that you move the pipe away from the fairing outside to avoid that.
So did it ever go into limp mode again? Mine just flashed the "Urgent Service!" Red triangle at me and now the check engine light stays on. Taking it in tomorrow for diagnostics. Will let you know when (if) it gets resolved.
@franklinwilkerson2061 mine has not gone into limp mode again as of yet, but I have not really had time to ride it. I've only done 300 miles since. I did however find the plug for the main power relay was corroded! I'm wondering if that was some of the issue
Yeah I love the swingarm on the '21 and newer Factory's but the build quality went down the toilet and NO CARBON FIBER!!! I mean come on Aprilia! I'll just keep my '20 even if the front is a bit "dated."
I agree the 2020 has better build quality. But the electronics and whole riding experience of the later model is better, so if you want a bike for build quality only then definitely go with the earlier model
I run the same sprockets, one down in the front and two up and never had this issue at 7k miles and just past the second service. Otherwise it's the exact same things with the awful plastics, standing water, brake calipers.
I bought a new one and I've come to resent the bike as a whole. If the bike was a person, the relationaship is be a super dysfuntional one. The rider cares for the bike, buys it all the accessories to make it nicr e and yet the bike and the manufacturer and dealer treats you like 💩. A manufacturer should not be gaslighting its customer.

I know they are better but I am a cnc machinist so I like making my own bits
