The robustness is actually very good and in my experience there's no noticeable difference in steering. The tower is heavier than the stock headlight, but not that much. It's also mounted very firmly to the bike. It has special break brackets to limit damage in case of a crash. As you can see later on in the video, those work exactly as advertised. I was riding my motorcycle through the woods on a paved road about 50 mph, at the very edge a deer jumped out of a ditch on the right side and clipped my front wheel. It launched me over the handlebars and I scored a soft landing on the asphalt ;) Unfortunately, but I destroyed all the equipment I had purchased 3 weeks earlier including a new helmet. But it proves that it is worth riding in protective gear. I picked up the motorcycle, straightened the foot brake and rode home on wheels in the dark for 1.5 hours. When I got home, I went to the hospital, where I spent the next 3 days because they wouldn't let me out anymore. 5:40 In 2017 I hit a deer with a Xl650 Transalp, it was not cool 😅
Oh shit! Did it run into you? And did it survive?
@@FineLine-Media No worries, it was in shock, but it got up and ran off into the woods before I could gather myself off the ground. I live in an area where there is a lot of wildlife, and many times packs of wild boar and large deer have run across my path. I have been riding a motorcycle since 2010 and have never had an accident, especially with a wild animal, until then 😂
@@krupalization what a wild story! You must have been pretty banged up if they hold you for three days. Good reminder to always wear good safety gear. Glad you made it out okay, well… okay-ish anyway.😅
@@FineLine-Media Exactly, I had to call my wife to bring me a toothbrush 😅 Except for a minor concussion and abrasions, I came out unscathed. I had the accident in May, and in September I had already bought a Honda Africa Twin 😎
@@krupalization 😂 nothing like a new bike to raise one’s spirits
gooooooooooood
How about roadbook? I want to buy it
In this video I’m using an app called Terra Pirata
Thank you very much 🙏🏼❤️
to be honest aesthetically it looks just terrible, but the main thing is that it’s convenient
Haha, that’s a matter of taste I suppose. I dig the looks. But the convenience is indeed the most important. Thanks for watching!🙏
$500- +. Not me.
Doesn't look great
I think it looks good, especially from the side, but different people, different taste😉 Ofc the functionality is more important than the looks. I think it’s currently one of the best solutions on the market
