    well demonstrated. But since these are meant for heavy duty home appliances safety is most important. It is always advisable to explain with audio ON including selection of type of cable, no of strands in a core (complete details of wire ) , safety aspects, likely mistakes, testing on load etc.

    Nice neat job, man 👌 if you want to, you could also add a zip/ cable tie within the box around the lead itself just before it exits- to reduce chance of forces pulling out the cable? Just a thought .. Enjoyed your video.

    In this same build can I use 6 amp socket instead of 16amp. The max load will be 1000watt.

    Thank you bro, however you could have used blue colour wire for the fuse that could have avoided lot of confusion, I had to watch this video 3 times.

    Can I use it directly to run a 2000watt 16 Amp room heater from home supply 230/240 volt 5 amp socket????

    • @science_sir
      @science_sir  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If u want to run a 2000watt heater using 240V supply, then u need (2000watt/240V = 8.33amp) 15amp socket not 5 amp.

    Will this work with 2000W induction base?

    • @science_sir
      @science_sir  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the device operate on 220V and draw 2000W electrical energy, the amount of current required for the device will be = 2000w/220v = 9 amp.
      Conclusion: as this extension can withstand 15 amp current so definitely you can Use it to run your device.
      Please feel free if you have any other queries. God bless you and your family 🙏

    Hello sir. I am using a 6A plug top with 2.5 sqmm 3 core wire connected with 16A socket switch. Is there any problem with the 6A top instead 16A.

      Can u please tell me the appliance (along with the power rating) that you want run using this setup, so that I can help u.

      @@science_sir i am using 500W drill machine

    • @science_sir
      @science_sir  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ok, so here power = 500watt, voltage = 220V, the formula for calculating current = power/voltage = 500/220 ~ 2.27amp.
      Now you are using a 6 amp plug with 16 amp socket to draw 2.27amp current. So definitely it's safe.
      God bless 🙏

      @@science_sir In the plug it is mentioned 10A/16A whereas other household appliances has mentioned only 6A. Is there any difference?

    • @science_sir
      @science_sir  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't worry it's perfectly safe to use as you are drawing less current than the max range specified on the plug.
