This is definitely the best acoustic cover of smooth criminal that's ever existed. And I really like Luca stricagnoli's version and I really like his playing but I think you beat him on this one. It's so gentle and soft, then aggressive and the transition back to soft and gentle is so perfect. Only real musicians will understand what I'm saying. It's not easy to be able to control and tame that aggression on any instrument. To be able to turn it on, then off, then back on and make it all flow together so well and natural is the works of a true prodigy.

They're both amazing. But Luca Stricagnoli makes the song sound as close to the original as possible. Basically including every beat, baseline, melody, & vocals in the song. While Lucas here is a interpretation of the song more focused on the guitar. Both incredible feats but can't really be compared.

I play guitar in the privacy of my own home for the pure enjoyment of it and I will most likely never be so bold as to call myself a bonafide "real musician" but yah I think I understand what you said, so pretentiously, just fine 🙄 sheesh
@@youzongliu I do agree with you there. They both have completely different versions and styles of playing. Both legendary and great in their own ways. I was just saying I personally like Lucas's version a little more than Luca's. Doesn't mean one is necessarily better than the other. Both are great!
