How to determine the exact directions of reactions-Rx, Ry, Rz, Mx, My & Mz after response spectrum analysis? The software will give all results positive. How to determine the exact directions? Please help.
Bro which code of practice will be used for concrete buildings in US
plz make video on frequeny beyond 33Hz at 90% mass participation. How to solve this problem
Sir , i have a small question, if there is presence of Torsional irregularity in a building, can we just design using response spectrum keeping the torsional irregularity present in the building? if, we again have to also make architectural or structural adjustment just to get rid of torsional irregularity, Doing the design with Response spectrum seems of no use. plz enlighten
Can you please share the excel sheet that you are using in this video?
can you please provide the excel sheets..
Your allowable drift ULS should be 0.025/4 = 0.00625 but in ur excel sheet it is 0.01 where u divided by 1.5.
that is round about value sir.
Foundation design ko ni videos banau paryo sir , footing size , depth , rebar details , and columns, tie beam
Sabai video upload gari sakyaa ta cha yaar yo haru ta
pls provide this excel sheet
Dai can you please share that notepad file for response spectrum data??
That differs according to soil type.
33hz vanda badi ko lagi kasari consider garne video banaidinu na dai
Dai zero period acceleration ko lagi video banaidinu na...
Dai, please prestressed beam concrete ko lagi euta video banaidinus na.
Sorry I haven't worked on that topic yet.
Response Spectrum bata garda ta RSx ra RSy maa check garne haina ra drift / displacement / torsional irregularity? Ani EQx ULS maa torsion check garda step 1 vanda ni max chahi line hoina ra? I am confused........ I hope you will clarify it.... Anyway thanks for the video
Those parameters shall be checked for static loads only I guess.
and for torsion check in ULS, you have to consider other step numbers as well. So you can select absolute max option while checking for displacement. Thanks for noting that.
Cheers
@@civilconst Every day i seach for the checklist for response spectrum analysis and found some people are checking drift displacement in EQ while others are checking in RS. As i am fresher; i am totally confused. I took the training from 2 3 people and still they donot have the same way of checklist. I do not mean that they are wrong but though the codes followed are same; they are checking differently... For example Some are checking torsional irregularity as Diaphgram max / avg drift < 1.5 while some are checking storey max / avg disp. < 1.5 but as nbc says max/min disp < 1.5 so i am totally confused. Some of the checklist that i prefer to check are:
Drift
Displacemnt
Sum Ux and Sum Uy >65% Rz in 3 rd mode
Time difference >10%
90% modal participation and corresponding frequency
Soft storey check
Mass irregularity check
Eccentricity check
Torsional check as Max disp/ min disp.
Diaphgram max/avg drift
@@deepakshrestha7974 I think it shall be checked for Static eq load.
Your list of checks are Ok
will upload videos regarding these topic as well.
for torsion story max over average displ. Shall be considered
@@civilconst ok thank you
