This is why I love you!! As I’m watching this, I’m wearing my “Cinnamon Stitches Bitches” shirt, and I keep hollering , “I hear ya, girl!” and “Hey hon, there’s somebody else who thinks like we do about granny squares!” So here we sit in our blue and purple matching “Cinnamon Stitches Bitches” shirts, appreciating your videos in separate rooms, and you make it so much fun!! I never comment but I just had to thank you and tell you how much your “realism” is appreciated!
Great Jennifer! I often wonder how to change something up like this . I also have add. Never know how my brain is going to work. You give me so much strength and encouragement. Just floors me how great you share your feelings with others. You have made me realize that it's okay, just keep your mind busy with positive thoughts. You are God sent to me to help and it's awesome. Jennifer, I am so blessed that you are teaching Little Man at home. I say that because the school systems are crazy right now,due to the government s control. I'm not talking about the teachers . They can only do what they are aloud to do! God bless them that have their hearts in the right place. Squirrel! Ha ha okay JUST wanted to THANK YOU! Love ya lady Sincerely Janey ❤️
Good Morning Jen🥳 This was so much fun to watch you make this awesome square!! I’m still struggling with the plain ole Granny square. But I love watching your flying fingers. Thank you for giving me inspiration to keep working on my craft. Love ya❤️
Oh oh oh a stitch sampler blanket would be absolutely gorgeous....you have inspired this life long knitter to learn to crochet..thank you thank you miss Jennifer
Thank you SO much for this. You have literally made my day. I just love this - I was always nervous about doing different stitches and making sure they work out in grannies. 🥰💜
Thank you so much Jen. Just the other day I was trying to figure out how to do that (and failed lol). Hope this finds all of you having a wonderful day. Take care and I will see you tomorrow!
Good afternoon Jen❤️🙏. I absolutely loved this tutorial and also love the awesome colors you used too. By you showing how to do the different stitches, I was definitely able to understand you and I hope I will eventually have the guts to even try the Granny Stitches too, thanks again and God bless you and have an awesome rest of your day. Hugs and love, Sue M. Clearwater, Florida ❤️🌴😎🥰🙏👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻❌⭕️
Loved this video and especially the Halloween blanket. I really like combining the stitches into the same blanket, and they didn't "lean" like a straight non-turned granny does sometimes. I think adding the other stitches took care of that problem. Thank you so much for a great tutorial, Jen!
This is a fun idea for an interesting looking granny square blanket. You definitely won’t get bored with all these pretty stitches. Thank you for sharing your ideas. 🧶💜🙏🏻
How fun is this video! About the only blankets I make are start from the center ones. And YES, all granny stitches for one gets mind numbing- not just mindless. Thanks for sharing such creative ideas!
Thank you for this! For whatever reason, I tend to be robotic doing granny squares, so it was awesome to see you think outside my box. I'm encouraged to be a little more adventurous, thanks to you!❤
You may have just convinced me to give this a whirl! I haven't made granny squares in many, many years. My reasons were the same as yours! As soon as I have my WIPs caught up, my scrap stash is getting a workout. 😂 Thank you, Jen. ❤
Oh my gosh! Thank you. I am new to crocheting. I have made four projects. A basket from a video tutorial and three I made up myself for like my hooks and stitch markers etc. I have been working on a beanie for a solid week. I am supposed to end up with 50 half double crochets in a row. I have frogged SO many times and I am frustrated. I also had started an Afghan following a pattern and I QUICKLY got bored and distracted (I have ADHD and other things) I tied off my last round and set it aside. I have a couple of books that show very detailed instructions for various stitches. I have been wanting to just make swatches to play around with the stitches. Duh! Work on the Afghan with them. Such a great idea. I have also gotten a lot of yarn from Thrift stores not wanting to make a huge investment not knowing where I would go with it. So I have random one off skeins of colors that I love but certainly not enough for a Afghan. I love your channel! I watched your last video about plus size clothing. I am a 5X also and not ready to attempt that but know where to go when I am ready.
I like Granny squares and don't mind putting them together they are a good scrap buster. I learned the original name for Granny stitch was called Vandyke stitch from Corrina at JVC.😊
Thank you so much! You are the best instructor - walking through the entire project, giving us a heads up when things might be wonky, and providing options to make it our own. You are very imaginative and generous to share your patterns. I recently started watching your TH-cam videos and can't wait to watch your previous videos (the Boob video is priceless) OH! And if Little Man liked the Disco Prawn chips you talked about earlier this week, I found them on Amazon, as well as another brand - Walker. Please take care.
Thank you AGAIN for giving us a new idea for spicing up granny squares! I like making a center out blanket too. Im now trying to figure out how to add length to the ends of a granny square blanket so its not a square but a rectangle. I think Ive figured it out but will let you know.❤❤
I’m making a cocoon sweater cardigan whatever will a giant granny square thank u for this video I put a dog print now I will be doing a V stitch. I’m using all my scrap yarn holding 2 together with white. Turning out kinda nice.
I love this Jen! Thank you! Yes No body want to do extra Math!! lol You should sing your patterns, match them to a tune and sing out the stitches like in a square dace lol that way we dont have to sto and look at the pattern we just wait for you to sing the next thing we need to do! LOL You could start a whole new pattern trend! 😄 LOL Have a great day sweet friend! Love Hugs and Prayers.
Hi, good morning Miss Jennifer I am with you there with the granny for I don’t like doing them either. I would prefer just making a big granny Square, and being that I’m totally blind. I don’t like the soul stuff together. So I would love to make this this Pattern and learn how to do this. Thanks hugs
I like a1 or 2 row repeat blankets or projects because I usually have family drop in and want to see my newest project and they'll tell me to keep crocheting while we visit; my mom and I would take our crochet to my grandmother's and we would crochet talk or watch television for about 3 hours at a time and we'd do so nightly and if we didn't show up on Tim we she'd call us to see what was keeping us away
My father would have loved this, I took a box of scraps and worked up a pattern my grandmother told me about, had no number for foundation row or number of stitches, so for the first 6 inches my sides were going in before I knew what I had to do, it was a ripple stitch blanket, when I finished it my dad claimed it for himself
Concerning getting bored: I get easily bored too- I "solve it" by working on 4 or 5 projects at the same time. Wherever I get bored, I switch projects The Mad Hatter I am: "Clean plate! Clean plate!"
Have you seen Yarnspirations new granny squares with flowers all of them are the same flower different colors same flower. I love your colorful one though.
Thank you for another wonderful video 📹 ❤️ that was most helpful. You have inspired me to cake up some of my yarn Scraps to make a Autumn Granny blanket. May i please have your email address and i will send you a picture as the blanket you inspired progresses?

Good morning 🧶☕️
Would this work for an oblong granny stitch blanket to Jenn?
Yes
Yes I d like her email also to send her pictures of my project I made from her tutorials 😊
I like changing stitches each row, it’s like practicing your new stitches and you can find your style 😂
No. Don’t think it’s gonna make it to end.
Hi sweetie can you make a granny square slower I’m a beginner and was hard to follow along
