I would recommend Russian Red over Ruby Woo
I have Olive skin, I find ruby woo makes me look way to warm toned. Too the point it looks off....
MAC lipsticks are honestly my favorite lipsticks I’ve ever tried. There’s just something so perfect about them & nothing really compares.
I'm an ex MAC employee and Mehr is actually one of the most popular and most sold Mac lipsticks. My personal favourites are Chilli, Creme Cup and Russian Red
Love chilli! I always have to be careful with reds but that really suits me… it’s probably because it’s more of a brown based red

I've owned Mehr for a long time now and I love it so much. My rotation for MAC lipsticks is: Mehr, Velvet Teddy (I'm pink undertone and super pale so it is more brown on me), Faux, Brave, and Whirl. I own Ruby Woo and I really like it but never wear it. I think I need to go and try Pure Zen. I have Angel but I don't really wear it as much.

The MAC lipstick in Mehr was stunning and reminded me a lot of Urban Decays "backtalk" shade
Please keep going on the best MAC stuff including the nude lipsticks. The rest of TH-cam has gone after other stuff but MAC is still one of the best overall for affordable quality products priced just above high end drugstore and is accessible to a lot of online shoppers. And it ALWAYS considers ALL skin tones and ethnicities. What people need is help knowing what to try at the MAC display or order online.

I love MAC lipsticks! Honeylove or Blankety lipsticks paired with Stripdown lip liner, or Brave lipstick paired with Soar lip liner are my favorites!

I'm from Canada, but I only have one MAC lipstick?! It's 'Have Your Cake' from the Flamingo Park Collection, released in Spring 2016. I have a very fair, 'Winter', cool-toned complexion, with brown eyes, and hair, so it does compliment my skin tone! I could also wear 'Ruby Woo' if it is a true, cool, blue-based red. Out of your other favourites that you showcased today, I'm sure I could wear the cool-toned 'Mehr', I suppose, as a neutral lip. The others look too coral, or peach, and too warm for my colouring. I prefer matte lipsticks, and I only wear shades that are cool-toned, or blue-based; my favourites are usually deep roses, fuschia, and medium purple shades! Thanks for sharing your favourite shades! ADORE MAC lipsticks !!!! LUV the Back to MAC program. No other cosmetic companies do it. (Bring back 6 empty MAC product containers and get a free lipstick). Another plus -- when you think you've hit bottom on a lipstick, there's usually 1/3 inch or so more left. (Stick a toothpick in and see!!) I scrape it out and put it into a pallette. Can't go wrong with MAC ... 💋💄

I only own Aloof Lustre bc it was gifted to me. It's a sheer, very shiny pale pink that's been discontinued.
I doubt I'll ever pay full price for a mac lipstick with so many great drugstore options available at less than half the price.
