      Rocco FX this is a marketplace pack and if I’m right it also supports multiplayer
      BTW if you’re wondering how to make you own dynamic gravity it will require editing the engine source code which is what this plugin dose to achieve it

    When I see gravity asset, my question is: can i have flying pawn that goes around sphere, so, basically, replacing "usual" XYZ coordinates? Thank You.

    • @PlashkaPlain
      @PlashkaPlain  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If your flying pawn is driven by physics, it can be affected by this custom gravity, so it will fly around planet inside spherical gravity volume.

    Is this compatible with charactermovement component? Looking to buy asap

    • @PlashkaPlain
      @PlashkaPlain  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, character movement component isn't used.

    • @legacythegame
      @legacythegame 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Could there be a way to integrate it?

    • @PlashkaPlain
      @PlashkaPlain  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. CharacterMovement component is a standard movement system itself. This blueprint is a custom movement system and such integration just make no sense, because two movement systems can't work simultaneously.

    Do destructible meshes or particles work with this plugin?

    • @PlashkaPlain
      @PlashkaPlain  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, no. It applies gravity to actors. Single particle and part of destructible mesh are not actors.

      If you can add this feature, I'd love to buy your plugin.

    Could this be used for slower moving larger vehicles in multiplayer with interiors as you would see in sea of thieves? I know that game was made in UE4, trying to accomplish that. People can walk right on the ship and stay on it as it moves around.

    • @PlashkaPlain
      @PlashkaPlain  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      This system doesn't fit well for such case becuase it bases on physics and characters has an inertia. Maybe you need something like Local Physics Volume(forums.unrealengine.com/community/community-content-tools-and-tutorials/78740-local-field-volume) or both systems in combination if you need to change gravity direction inside vehicle.

    Hi,
    your work is awesome. We meet some problems with the mutli player caracter mouvement synchronisation (the ones who join are really slower than the one who host). Could you please contact me ? I'm sure that if we understand the logic you build this asset, we could manage to make caracter movements synchronised.

    • @PlashkaPlain
      @PlashkaPlain  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've tested it only on Windows, but pretty sure that it doesn't depend from platform. System is done in pure blueprints, so no sources and rebuilding.

  • @ArtofWEZ

    would this work if I want to have player stuck to a platform that's moving very fast? like Bayonetta when they fight ontop a fighter jet lol

    • @PlashkaPlain
      @PlashkaPlain  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      On fast moving platform player will suffer from inertia. So, I guess answer is no. You probably need something that called Local Physics Volume, maybe it may help: forums.unrealengine.com/community/community-content-tools-and-tutorials/78740-local-field-volume

      You can add this to any physics actor, but characters should be based on special gravity character that use custom moving logic.

    • @PlashkaPlain
      @PlashkaPlain  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If your character uses physics for movement you need to attach GravityReceiver to it and control movement with impulses. Otherwise you need strong blueprinting to adopt this for your case.

    Does the spherical gravity work on uneven surfaces? Such as a planet-type mesh?

    • @PlashkaPlain
      @PlashkaPlain  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If collision of your mesh is far from spherical shape, spherical gravity will not fit well for it. However you can try to replicate complex shapes with several overlapping spherical gravity volumes.

    • @PlashkaPlain
      @PlashkaPlain  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Не совсем уверен, что понял, что вы имеете в виду. У сферической гравитации нет зависимости от дистанции до центра сферы, так что можно сказать, что полноценную орбитальную физику не сделать. Однако, такую зависимость легко сделать при базовых навыках в Blueprints.
