  • Turkish people have an interesting way to enjoy their breakfast. I've never thought that Poached Egg could go so well with garlic yogurt and red chilli burnt butter. A combination that will surely give a surprise.

It is very hard to find Turkish yogurt in U K so Greek yogurt is the next best thing!

Greek yogurt is not used in Turkish food.
Maybe you don't know, but yogurt is a product of Central Asian and Middle Eastern peoples. ;) :)))))

one pro advice I can give you my friend, don't put salt over oil. it won't dissolve. put salt over the chili then crush it, then pour the oil.

Very well done, beautiful! I love the green chili oil. Two things about the egg, though - it may have been just a teensy bit overcooked (notice how the toast had to assert itself to break the yolk?), and why did you poach it so early on? I’m sure it lost a lot of heat before you plated the dish.
Refika of Refika’s Kitchen tore her Turkish bread into large chunks and toasted it so it would be very crunchy but still soft and absorbent inside, and when she plated, the bread came first, then the yogurt, then the egg (along with more yogurt), and finally the spiced butter. I forget what she used to eat it, but I’d use a big spoon in one hand and a fork in the other.
