Mexico is world famous for its food and culture but we've all heard the scary stories too. After all, there is a Mexican holiday literally called The Day of The Dead. People there know the stories, I've seen many of you in the comments who are from Mexico asking for me to share more because they're so good. I agree and that's why we are back. Yo I got this scary story so when me, my older, and my older cousin who's was 18 we're sitting down at a store that was closed we saw a black car and it has tinted windows and had their headlights on and the person he sum in his hand so my 18 year old cousin said "Vamanos" (Let's Go) so than we turned to the corner the car was just up the street half showing so we just went to our friends house(This happened a year ago)
So just yesterday night When me, my cousin, my other cousin, and my Abuleita when we were going into the house we saw the same car the same day and same time so pray for me and everybody else🙇🙇🙇

La llorona is a classic that I’ve heard as well, children in my family are told many Mexican scary stories. Unfortunately my generation of my family didn’t get many stories but from what my oldest sister have said, they’ve been told A LOT. We got like, 3 good stories. Yes, we are Mexican(I also have another race so I’m half)

My favorite version is the one found in urban Mexican folklore and urban legends book Stories that Must Not Die. Not an easy book to get, but if you do, you will enjoy not only that version of La Llorona, but all the other urban legends.

I've always liked you guys to do one on Iceland! You'd be amazed at the folklore and the urban legends, from fairies to lake monsters! My ex-husband is Icelandic so I've been there a few times. To think that the local government actually diverted a road that led from keflavik to Reykjavik because people warned not to move the boulders in fear that the hidden people that live inside the boulders would retaliate. They started having equipment malfunctions. There were people that were scared to death that they were next on the list. It is a very strong belief and the fact that it is still respected to this day even with modern times, they "the hidden people" very well respected and the local population refuses to do anything to piss them off! There's also a sea monster in live in Northern Lakes off closer to the east side of Iceland. Oh there is plenty to tell. Trolls, fairies, ghost, Etc... you pick and choose! I think it's a good pick there's plenty there for a top 10!
