Then I go picking plastic in the Norwegian archipelago. What I see there is schocking! Don’t miss that one! See you then!
Thank you. Wonderful video. I miss your sailing adventures, but this is a great way to see Norway and see what can be done to tackle plastic pollution in the sea.
My grandmother was a conceived in Norway Norwegian. I came for the sailing, but it's awesome to see part of my heritage while we wait for the craziness to end.
Vancouver is west about 5000km from Newfoundland most easterly part of Canada. We are only a few hours drive from Lance aux Meadow's where Norsemen were the first Europeans to discover North America around 980 AD. 500 years before Christopher Columbus
Barrry Simms Not far from St.John’s then? I landed there with a shrimping vessel almost 2 decades ago. Nice place! Only sorry we got to see so little of it before we had to fly back home.
Hi Roger, always love see other countries that I will probably never get the chance to visit...I have also shared your latest videos with Danish and Finnish friends who are now following your adventures as well, cheers.
I miss you having a crew on the boat but you are putting together some awesome adventures on land. Keep the creativity rolling until you are able to get back to the sailing videos. Great stuff!
I think this was your best video yet! The opening was great lmao. It’s summer in the northern hemisphere and 95 degrees F here, so your outfit was most appropriate. 😀. Love your BBQ! One suggestion for your videos, give us a map of where you are traveling highlighting the route. Enquiring minds would like to know where you are taking us. 👍👍. Again, great video. Thanks
Great to hear a bunch of Norwegian Scandahooligans singing an Irish song! Roger, I hereby appoint you as an honorary Irishman. You qualify on the grounds of craziness, LOL. Keep up the great work buddy!
Love it!!! I'd be in flip flops, tanktop and shorts myself. Like you said.., why the hell not!! Drink to stay warm. Wish I was there sitting and enjoying as well! You shouldn't be bbqing alone Sir. I'm great company!! 🇺🇸✌🍸😘 #Nomad #SweetVan
Nice COVID Vids Roger. Funny to see your friends from "In the same boat". I am rigging up their brand new beneteau 51.1 tommorow here in Asker (Oslo). Are you having trouble getting Mermaids to travel in the Fiat. Hope you can soon be back on the water.
@@SailMermaid - You remind me of my favorite uncle (really, my favorite person). He spoke 7 languages. Worked with British Intelligence during WWII. Drove an MGTD. Was a lifelong bachelor. And re-did his home in the Hollywood Hills to resemble a French Chalet (He was a Francophile). You two would've gotten along well.
There is no escaping plastic pollution. It is really pathetic that human beings can't be a little more responsible and not take care of the planet. Plastic pollution unfortunately is all over even in the most remote areas of the world. I'm by no means an environmentalist, but please pick up and recycle the plastic you use. It's like putting back the shopping cart you use in the return cart area at the grocery store, it is no skin of your teeth and just the right thing to do.
Yes, unfortunately not even returning plastic is a done deal as it is often shipped to 3.rd world countries and later dumped in the occean there. But check out next video. It is a real good one!

Thank you! The map is a good idea. I used one in my previous video.
My bad Roger, you did put a map on the last one 😱. Well, do each time for us foreigners, beautiful country.
As soon as you came around the van I said to myself "Rogers loaded"! Your eyes were looking quite heavy haha. Great video as they all are my friend.
Michael haha! I never had a poker face I guess :D
Awesome video, your country is very beautiful

Nice Video. Thanks for sharing.

Roger, your Arctic Circle dinner looks delicious! What time should I arrive?
Haha, I am sorry. You are running late already! ;)
Great video Roger
Thank you!
You didn't have everything at your Arctic circle BBQ, you were missing a Mermaid. Lol. Beautiful scenery for sure!
Yes, but Mermaids should be at sea, not on top of mountains :)
These travel log videos are pretty well done. Interesting to see these places. Pretty girls too. All around a win. Fine job.
Thank you! :)
Good BBQ, good sights, good company! Carry on!
Thank you!
That shanty is well known here on the island of newfoundland, great to hear it sung in norway.
I think it is well known everywhere people sing Shantys :)

Nice video with a nice picture quality, do you use a Hero 8 ?
Thank you! Yes I do :)
Roger, Great episode. Any time you want to demonstrate you skills as a chef, I would enjoy watching. Did you recruit any future mermaids?
Thank you! No, Not so far. I had a pretty good crew lined up for this season, but damn Corona!

Thank you! Problem with the Fiat is space. It pretty much requires you are more than a Mermaid :)
