One color, three different style baits. I like that. I’ll try that next time.

Thanks John. I have been using the 3 different bait styles without realizing. My soft plastics are the rage bug, strait tail worm and a tube. The ROF I still need to work on. Thanks for making me think. Good luck John.

The missile craw is super underrated. The fall reminds me of flipping a tube.

Great information John. I was thinking about a super bug with red flakes instead of blue. What do you think?

Wish the lake here still had those cypress root masses, used to flip those 40 years ago and had my line broke all the time

Is there a preferred order for working through the types and the ROF? Example... start with X first and go down/ up?

The water clarity also plays a factor in the rate of fall for flipping and pitching.

Do you determine the weight based on water clarity - for exa.ple, clear vs. muddy?

Not exactly a water color deal. More of a mood deal

How does water color, current and depth affect your bait choice and weight choice when flipping and pitching?

Hey John what about if your not really pitching or flipping but doing more of target casting and roll casting does that rof play the same roll as it does with flipping? Thanks soo much buddy

I was flipping a D bomb the angler in back flipped a Ned bomb. I got worked. I even went to same color and changed sizes Baby D bomb. Early season they wanted that size shape action of the Ned bomb in the flooded bushes. They were using same weight.

Bluebird sky w no clouds, pitchin deeper lily pads in a river... partner was pitchin a 1/2 oz jig and I had a 1 oz beaver... I was pumchin thru and aggressively yo yo ing the upper half of the water column and my partner was barely twitching his jig off the bottom... long story short I got smoked by my partner that day
