Great film of your micro adventure mate, really made we want to be out bikepacking again!, tent looks like a tardis for room, but doesn’t take up much space, nice design, catch you on the next one ⛺️🚲👍🏻
Nice video Dave, first time I've come here to your channel. Being from Australia (East side) I've always admired the English Countryside and while the roads are generally narrower, there's always beautiful hedges and cobblestone fences as you go past and the History there is amazing, the old churches and tombstones, the undulations of the landscape and no wonder it's always green over there with the amount of rain you get although on saying that, Eastern Australia has copped a decent dumping over the past 3 years causing flood issues in certain parts. Little bicycle adventures are something I want to do once i sort out some camping kit because i'm tired of all you lucky people having all the fun lol. New subscriber here......cheers!!
Thanks for looking in , I suppose we just take it all for granted living in this quaint country . And yes we a very green due to the amount of rain we get 😂😂 but back to the bike camping , I would recommend it as a way of seeing what countryside your beautiful nation has on offer 👍 tfw atb Dave 👍 being and 80s kid I do love the “men at work “ song down under brings back happy memories of the 80s. Nightclubs , beer and being free 🍺
@@davesolobiker5601 Yes our Music from Downunder surely shone back in the 70's & 80's, it was the days of Pub rock which was very strong in Australia. Night clubs were for disco, pubs were for rock.
Nice video Dave, Nice drone shots, nice tent:) I think these small micro adventures are what I am going to be doing more of, I would love to do big miles and multi days, but dogs and family commitments say otherwise!
That’s the beauty of just doing overnighters Sandy , you can be home mid morning. As I always say it’s always good to be out even for a short time . Tfw atb Dave ⛺️🚲👍
Nice video, I have the big agnes bikepacking version with the short poles. Great tent only used it on two overnighters. At 70 bikepacking isn't for me. Think it'll be up for sale shortly, B&Bs for me now.
Do you ever think of putting your bike onto a train. Then cycling back home from your destination? I think it beats a circular ride from your home. It’s a great way of touring the U.K. or England even. Wales in my case. Thanks for sharing.
Checkout my other videos and my trips out or back by train, normally on shorter trips like this I do circular but longer multi day trips I use the train. tfw atb Dave 🚲⛺️👍
Really enjoying your videos and have spent far too long watching them today - very addictive! Just one question: I assume the aerial shots are from a drone but how do you get the shots of you from behind when you're riding solo? (I'm sure there's a very obvious answer, but i cant see it!).
Ride safe everyone !
I will 👍
Great night out Dave thanks for taking us along mate 👍🏻🚴
Thanks for watching atb Dave ⛺️🚲👍

Cheers Ian , looking forward to the next trip wherever it takes us 😎👍
Another great video with incredible views! Can’t wait for more!
More to come , don’t know where but soon that’s for sure atb Dave ⛺️🚲👍

Thanks mate , happy with the tent it worked well atb Dave ⛺️👍
The borders are fantastic, given the right weather. Nice tent. I'm packed ready to go.
Have a great trip , wish I was out tonight to catch the aurora 😂 but work in the morning 😵💫
@@davesolobiker5601 I'm in the Forest of Bowland not sure we'll see them here.
You have a good tent, it is a decent 3 season shelter. No need to worry about the rain, I’ve been using it awhile and I just love it.
Good to hear that , TFW atb Dave 👍

Thank you , yes a sensible choice camping in this country can be good or very bad . As long as you can still cycle b&bs work a treat . Atb Dave
Great to see you in the forest where I normally get out to! Both roads now open as of yesterday.
Good to hear, is it pot hole work or work on some of the bridges ? tfw atb Dave
@@davesolobiker5601 neither.... Utilities company (telephone/broadband I think

Yeah , out of sight and off the main tracks. . bloody midge is back , we are never happy eh 😂😂👍
Sad times we live in Dave, churches locked.
Yeah , I was surprised with the 2nd one as in the middle of nowhere 🤷♂️

Glad you like them 👍 the follow me shots are from my little Hover X1 drone, which is perfect for doing follow from front or back shots. tfw atb Dave 👍
I WONDER HOW THAT TENT HOLDS UP IN STRONG WIND
Probably not the best in strong wind , to talk and not enough guy outs 💨😂
👍🇬🇧🍀
Thanks for the video mate!
What drone are you using?
It’s the hover X1 drone, a cheaper and more easy to use on these type of trips
@@davesolobiker5601 Thank you!
