Does it make any difference. Lightroom will soon have the best Ai lens blur. It' will be able to match different lens characteristics. Ai is coming fast ! Soon you will only need a phone.
I love Fujifilm cameras because of their nice Jpegs. I've Stopped editing in Lightroom. And I don't mind less bokeh, i find that extremely blurry backgrounds are terrible boring.
Bro the screen thing is so real feel ya! I used an articulating screen for a year, now I have used this screen on the XT5 for a year and I just recently tried to go back to an articulating screen on the Sony a7rv and honestly find the tilt screen of the xt5 so much better “for me” in really focusing on composition, along with going from horizontal to vertical very quickly. Really have falling in love with having the screen lined up with the camera on the back and not off to the side. Another note with the most recent update, I have found, especially in low light conditions. The Fuji actually has much better eye auto focus than the Sony, which I know is unheard of and something I just found out with a photo shoot using XT5 and a7rv 2 nights ago. Thanks for the video loved it 🤙 have a wonderful week! Quick question! In what way do you think the back button focus helped? And what did you turn the tracking sensitivity to? 😊 🙏
You’ve got to have the focus set to continuous focus for the focus to be fast and also set to boost mode and keep the shutter button pressed half down at the same time whilst tracking your subjects
I noticed seven minutes and 50 seconds into the video, you mentioned changing the sensitivity on the focus tracking. Can you tell me what sensitivity you used? Was this a custom setting? Thanks! 🖖
Thanks for sharing, i have been shooting for fuji for years & its great to see other content creators trying out the system. Im not sure your presets worked with the X trans sensor and color gamut? Did you try the Fuji simulations? Adobe also doesn’t translate fuji raw files great, your really need to be on capture one. This is possibly the reason why your presets really didn’t captivate me and actually the colors looked off and too warm and muddy for me.
I am using xt3 with 56mm 1.4 for the past 2 years.. I really love the tone amd i like it mostly than full frame camera, but now a days i change with The Nikon Z series and i have a little problem with the Z series.. Whenever i mount the flash or trigger my live mode and viewfinder was automatically controled by the flash and did not show the real time exposure, none like the other company the Z series has not this option to change, and using modern technology like the Z series is like using a dslr with fill flash.
felt like there was no depth in the 56mm I dont get that with full Frame. even at Lower megapixels. this is something apc cannot compete with, because physically more light travels to full frame.
You can get similar depth just has to the the right settings. But I understand what you mean. I recently did a shoot with my a7iv and a6700 I had a hard time trying to tell the difference in the two.
If by depth you mean bokeh? Yeah sure no doubt apc can’t compete.. but “depth” isn’t just created solely on bokeh.. lighting & composition also play a huge role in depth.. if it was all bokeh then all award winning “cinematic” Hollywood movies would be shot with fast lenses & super blurry backgrounds & we’d call it a day..
What do you mean by depth? And how does that have anything to do with megapixels? There’s more than enough separation with this lens especially close up…
I might be misunderstanding something, but why would you expect a camera in single shot AF (AF-S) to track an eye? That's the whole purpose of the AF-S mode, to not change the focus once focused? Hence the AF-C mode so it would continuously track the eye? Coming from a Sony and Fuji user a Sony does not track anything in AF-S either? Are you maybe thinking about having PRE-AF enabled? Because to me that's a very big difference. Or is it the fact that it could not actually find the eye when you did try to re-focus with the AF-S?
Not sure if you watched the full video but I didn’t realize I was in single shot AF. After I realized it, I switched it into AF-C, increased my tracking sensitivity and it definitely helped. The problem in which I’m talking about is the autofocus was having a hard time even in single shot autofocus when my subject wasn’t moving. There were time when my subject was still, where my Sony would have no issues with AF-S and the Fuji just wasn’t doing it. However, I made a review video on the XT5 and talked about the autofocus issue, something that is known in this camera. A recent firmware update was released and after I updated the camera, all the focus issues were fixed! It preformed exactly like it should!
@@StefanoLombardoYT I did watch the whole thing, and as I mentioned then I misunderstood what you were saying! Thanks for the clarification! Will be grabbing an X-T5 tomorrow on a BF deal!
wanna get much better bokeh will form factor as small as APSC? get a sony A7C and a 85 1.8mm. Any fuji camera with 56 1.2 will not hold a candle to it.
@@chloescanlon1107is he obviously right? Or do you disagree? I'm genuinely interest because I'm looking at getting a camera and I don't know what to get.
Sony's autofocus is definetely the best i've ever used, but apparently Fuji released an update for this camera a couple days ago, so I'll be seeing how they improved it!
Are you team APS-C or Full Frame?
Both
Both are good… no such thing as ‘team’.

@@r423fplip i do not agreeee, there are still so many different types of photography you can t do just with a phone ^^

The shutter on the Fuji is so nice to hear and the photos came out clean.
Totally agree! Such a clean sounding shutter, I love it!

Love the 23mm shots

Thanks for the tip! Going to try this. Apparently Fuji just released a new firmware update which improved the autofocus so I'm going to try that too!

@@deyonpoly5387Big improvement actually. As he mentions in several other places.

That last photo was actually so good!
Nice pictures! What camera did you film the bts with?

Does it support cfexpress type B cards?

The new firmware update (just last week) has significantly improved autofocus.
Updating the camera now! I wish this firmware was released before this shoot lol

Think of the word "bouquet" (as in flowers) when saying the word "bokeh".
Your using the slowest Fuji lens ever. Great video
