    Couldn't believe I found a video for my exact case. I worried that there were so many different cases that the odds were not in my favor. Great camera work and lighting. Thanks. Struggled a little to get it out and new one in but got er done.

      @@cutejessi I put in a support ticket on their website (NZXT) and a tech emailed me back. We determined it was probably a faulty part and they sent it to me for free. Installed the replacement a couple months ago and it works great now! Was killing me not having USB-C haha

    Thank you for this! My USB ports stopped working on the front. Was sent the replacement by the manufacturer and I was so worried I couldn't do it on my own. Much appreciated for your time and effort.

    I almost destoryed the old piece trying to get it out. I thought it was going to be impossible to get in, I watched your video and I had the new part in place in a couple minutes. Thanks a lot!

    My usb port was messed up and causing my motherboard problems ..static problems latency problems just replaced it and its working great now !

    I feel like my usb c front panel wire from the case is causing an issue on my mother board. Says usb over current and only when I remove it it’s normal. I hope I can fix it like this, I have the limited edition Mass effect one and I don’t know if they have a replacement for that

      I had that exact problem! Support sent me a new io panel but i havent replaced it because custom watercooling loop

    My power button is failing on my H510. Just found this and contacted NZXT. I'm a little surprised you can't just buy this part standalone.

      @@neelzsan My front usb-c port was broken out of the box, I wasn't using it since my older mobo doesn't support it but I filed a warranty claim with NZXT since I liked everything else about the case I didn't want to return it for a broken part I wasn't using. NZXT had me send them videos demonstrating the broken port and then they agreed to replace it. The part was on back order so it took a few months to arrive, I just replaced it today thanks to this video. Their warranty process is pretty slow, it sometimes took weeks to get a response from them but it eventually went through.

    This piece was a real bear to get out! Then the new one was even more difficult to install. I messed with it for probably 2 hours and gave up. There has to be a better way. Here's my final solution: I used a piece of 100 grit sandpaper, and I carefully sanded the plastic bar on the narrower/tapered end. Don't overdo it. It doesn't need much. You only remove about a half a millimeter of material. This makes it shorter without compromising its function. Once I did that, it slipped right into place!

      You can kinda push the whole thing up to the top of the case and it goes over the little metal barrier.

    I have a h500I case from nzxt I just installed it like my other one and only one USB port is working (did it the same on the old one) Any idea on why this is? (At least the button works now lol)

      they only have a 2 year warranty on computer cases. so nothing you can do after that........

    Mine is dying and I contacted NZXT support and they just ignored me. Only cheap part of my build was this case. Shitty company...

      @@dimmacommunication I will say this is the second product of theirs i've had issues with within the last month. my kraken z63 lcd screen stopped working after only having it for 4 months. luckily the sent a replacement

    Gotta love NZXT's piss poor quality control. Their cases are good - but they cheap out on those front panel connectors and buttons !!! Nobody should ever have to replace these - I remember in the old days I used cheap generic cases with built-in USB ports that were abused, and they lasted 20+ years, they were sturdy, the power button was sturdy, etc. The ones on the NZXT cases look cheap, flimsy and power button looks like it takes a few hundreds cycles before it craps out - You should avoid using the front panel connectors, they wear out so quickly - it's best to use a powered hub instead, at least they are easy to change and much MUCH sturdier. NZXT went out of its way to make sure the replacement module is not easy to buy, and is not sold anywhere............ In many other cases including my old one, you could easily change those USB connectors individually without unassembling the entire fucking case, the USB connectors were individually held by 2 screws inside, you did not have to replace an entire fucking module to replace one bloody connector.
    When paying such a hefty price on a case you'd think they would use premium quality components!!!

    This module got broken after just 3 months of normal use.
    Your so called Helpdesk told me to take a picture of it after I told them the usb-c port has a loose contact inside. Obviously you can't see that on any picture and I didn't want to disclose my mail address either because NZXT does NOT comply with EU privacy laws.
    I sincerely regret having bought a NZXT product. It will never happen again.

      Bro there’s no nzxt Italy. They do international shipping but only few places. Also it’s based of in southern California. The company has hard time shipping stuff to nearby Canada. It’s literally a American company
