    Yes! I think no matter how long you homeschool, you’ll get overwhelmed with all of the choices from time to time. I still wonder on occasion if everything we do is “enough”

      It works very well for us!! I love the gracious heart behind it and I love that it leaves room to add in anything extra needed or take away anything that I don't feel is necessary at the time🙂

    My biggest problem is that there are so many amazing curriculums out there and I want to do it all. However, I know that unit studies work best for my son, so we have stuck with them for four years.

    • @worldofweeze
      @worldofweeze  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with you!! There are so many wonderful options out there! I love that you have stuck with unit studies because that's what you have seen is best for your son. To be honest, I think that I would learn best through unit studies! I love the idea of them! As of right now, we just use smaller ones for some extra-curricular learning😃 It's been fun!

    I really appreciate this video! I’m planning on having my kids do Easy Peasy next year. It’s nice to see that you’ve been using it for a while and that it’s been working well. Hope to see more easy peasy content!

    Great encouragement! Do you usually use the online Easy Peasy or get the books?

    • @worldofweeze
      @worldofweeze  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi!! We do a mix of both! We do Bible, history, science, and all the extras online (although I did purchase the printable books) and we do the majority of LA and Math in workbooks. Sometimes we will hop onto the online lesson if there is a video explanation of the math lesson, mainly if I am having trouble explaining it🤣

      You're very welcome! My 2nd grader finished up CLE Reading 1 this year and we are working through CLE Language Arts 1. CLE has worked great for her, but we do plan to go into EP Reading and Language Arts for her next year and then supplement as needed if I feel the need☺

    For me, I tend to pray all year long about our homeschooling journey. Then, from there, I tend to talk to the children (like you did). Also, like you, we are "budget friendly" and we stick with what works. I keep the old sayings "if it ain't broke don't fix it" and "keep it simple".
    We are wrapping up our fifth year this school year and we are getting really dialed in on the best ways we like to learn and the curriculum we love.
    Also, my son really enjoyed the Preschool Genesis Curriculum book (also by Lee Giles and linked on her Easy Peasy page). It had stories related to the ABC sounds and it was so much fun for my son and I to do together. It was a sweet "us" time.

    • @worldofweeze
      @worldofweeze  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Praying should be at the top of the list☺ And not only school options, but mom life in general🤗 That's wonderful that you are in the habit of doing that!! Thanks for sharing about the Genesis Curriculum! I don't hear a lot about that, but I did look into it when I was briefly looking at preschool workbooks for next year. We have used EP Preschool but not the Genesis Curriculum. Maybe I should look into it again☺

      @@worldofweeze She has videos about what is inside each book which really helped me make a decision.
      Also just because my son wanted to "feel" like his siblings he also sometimes did the EP preschool...but it not something I required (just fun extra).
