I think the most missed understood thing about INFJs is that most of them are not perfectionist, they desire to have self-mastery, a big difference, and most people who are not an INFJ cannot see this attribute.
Robyn Thomas I think that's so interesting! Thank you for sharing that insight. Just curious. Why is that the case?Is it because it's more fun to love freely or maybe love is so much harder to control. Vulnerability? I've heard your type say that they knew when they were in the wrong relationship but they may have stayed in it anyway even though they knew it would not work out. Do you Think most INFJs have that type of foresight?

I saw your response in response to Robyn's and thought that I'd add my two cents, after all-I AM an INFJ-isn't that what we do? lol....As for me, the boundary factor-it *can* become harder to set in a relationship because of wanting to please the other person and maintain the harmony. I'm so focused on how my response will affect the other person that I sacrifice how *I'm* feeling about the matter which, is usually to my detriment. I'm still learning how to set them though and have gotten a lot better at vocalizing what I do and do not like. 2)As for staying in relationships that are doomed-that one right there-I have NO problems with sis!! Time is extremely precious to me so much so that if I sniff just a small wiff of "this ain't working"-I'm unapologetically OUT!!! lol........all of that said, I truly do appreciate your videos and the effort that you put into making these. They are very insightful. Thank You!
Yes! I'm a very prophetic INFJ. God gives me dreams all of the time, I love to go for walks and just feel His presence. I'd say my whole life is a prophetic act. Great insights, on all points.

Thanks for this video. I’m a INFJ 1w2 and the last couple of years i have been trying to discover and improve myself! I have always been very sensitive, wanted to help others and knew I was different!
Yup, I could always sense when class was cancelled. I still drove to school though... 😂 I do love positive psychology and weave it into my psychotherapy craft. I limit as much negative outside messages as possible to help me balance the counseling work I do. I am a perfectionist and have been told I take “investing in others” seriously. I remember when I was younger I was not assertive because my father silenced me in a way that I felt very self-conscious to be assertive so I learned to find a way to get out of stuff. At one of my first jobs my boss told me that I was going to have to learn to be more assertive and I took developing that skill very seriously. Had I learned the assertive early in life, preferably by my parents, I would have been spared a lot of very inappropriate situations.

Thank You Tam, I am a Catholic INFJ and I am so excited to finally find someone who speaks of God and Biblical gift-, Instead of Psychic. I totally know that God is the source of all Good that comes from this INFJ. I am blessed, but I can not always read minds and in fact I am sometime surprised by people who do a great TH-cam on a personality type and then cuss at the end. I have so many insights from God that have proven to grow my faith life with Him and Mother Mary, and self knowledge. Do you know of any other people who speak of God and our personality types? I don't know of anyone else with videos that include God too however I love love love the idea and I I think I'll make some videos that focus on God and Mbti types in the future.
Interesting 🤔 I'm an INFJ, but I don't feel that close to God. God is DEFINITELY my buddy tho. We're mostly not close because I'm not a fan of the stories told about God in the bible. God is my buddy tho. We just got some issues we need to smooth out. I appreciate the compliment tho 😇.
So for about 8 years now I have been doing prayer- meditation, contemplation thru Lectio Divine. God has spoken to me thru this process as I read the Gospel reading of the day. Google LD for details. As an my life lessons and miracles of God and connecting the dots of His relationship to me in the way Infj process. I began to wonder if I had a special gift or what. Some how I learned that was an INFJ and its description was amazingly surprising for me to understand God's love for me to know Him, Love and Serve Him as a Spiritual Director in the Catholic Faith. You know what's interesting I find that we create boundaries except for in relationships.
