    Thumbs up if you're watching this with me in 2018! Wow .... I loved this video, thank you so much for sharing. Your buttons were so cute. I'm not sure if they still sell this button maker but I will definitely search for it or something similar. Big thumbs up and new subbie from LONDON ENGLAND. XX

    I’m planning to buy this machine as well. May I ask how this hold up in the long run? Is this still working, did you have any issues with it after some time? And how the pins hold up, are they sturdy, or do they fall apart quickly? Thanks in advance!

    • @TheScrappinRabbit1
      @TheScrappinRabbit1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! The machine is quite sturdy and I have had no issues with it. I purchased the buttons in bulk with the machine and they are holding up just fine. I do however only use the machine occasionally. I do not use it for mass production or to sell. I hope this information helps :)

      @@TheScrappinRabbit1 thank you for the answer! I also want to use it just as a hobby, and make some gifts for my friends and family, somitks ok if it’s durable enough for that. I’m going to order it. Thanks again.

    HI I just received my button making machine just like yours and I am having a hard time working it. The image with the mylar just don't want to wrap around the metal part. Do you have suggestions? I don't know what I am doing wrong. Thank you

    • @TheScrappinRabbit1
      @TheScrappinRabbit1  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Sandra, sorry you are having troubles. It did take me a few tries to figure it out. I believe it is how you are pulling the lever. There are the 2 distances and with one pull of the lever the holes line up. With the next pull they don't. I hope that helps. Take care, Tina

    If you are spending that much money on a printer you should really invest in a Tecre machine. I kid you not I bought one and its so so so so much easier and also less hassle. Works every time no mistakes.

    What’s the best paper to use for these?

    • @TheScrappinRabbit1
      @TheScrappinRabbit1  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used 24 pound paper. Card stock is too thick but you don't want the cheaper paper either. Also use a paper that works well with your printer. Hope that helps :)

    Are you able to make fabric covered buttons with this machine?

    • @TheScrappinRabbit1
      @TheScrappinRabbit1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't believe so. I haven't tried. But it doesn't take to thick card stock too well so I'm sure fabric would not be a good idea :)

    Say you didn’t want to make it in to a pin, instead a magnet or keychain. Could you skip the step of putting on the white piece & pin?

    • @TheScrappinRabbit1
      @TheScrappinRabbit1  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can buy different backings such as a flatback, keychain or magnet backing. Or if you just want to use the white piece that comes with it you can just leave out the pin, But with any type of backing you will still do the same step. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching :)

    Can you do more than one size with this machine?

    • @TheScrappinRabbit1
      @TheScrappinRabbit1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      This button maker only makes one size. Most of the machines do only one. They do have machines that make multiple sizes with different pieces to swap out but they are quite pricey :)

      Is it different than regular American button machines? I have one that looks like yours but was made in China and the sizes are different for the mylar and stuff

    • @TheScrappinRabbit1
      @TheScrappinRabbit1  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine is from China as well. When I bought the machine I bought the coordinating pin backs for 1000 pins so I haven't had to rebuy them yet.

      @@TheScrappinRabbit1 nice I bought an open box one and came with lots of buttons but the mylar were missing 😢

    • @TheScrappinRabbit1
      @TheScrappinRabbit1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      My pins are 1" and the mylar measures approx 1 3/8 ". Maybe do a search to purchase the mylar for the 1" pins or rebuy both to have them coordinate. Good luck!! They are fun to make :)
