Traxxas TRX4M Upgrades - Low Gears Installation and New Beadlock Wheels w/Tires

The Traxxas TRX4M. An 18th scale crawler from Traxxas. In this video we address the rubbing of the tires on the steering linkage, install the low gear set and new wheels and tires.
There are a few ways how to address but the two I would advise on the TRX4M Bronco is by using an offset to the wheels or binding the TQI controller and setting your endpoints.

I have the orange Bronco. With the 'slow crawl' gear set, this rig rivals a Furitek rig. Great crawler, especially for the money. I will be purchasing another TRX4M Bronco very soon...

I had to use washer's to mount the treals ,they worked good but are narrower then the stock ones , I've put the stock back on til I get some new ones

Put one or two small washers between the wheel and the hex to get a little offset.Rubbing gone and retain same steering angle

Those rims are just like the Fuel Shok wheels I had on my Jeep, even the color is the same. Also great vid keep up the good work boss

Nice video! I have heard of the o rings coming off the drive shafts letting the pins fall out. You may want to put 1/2 inch heat shrink over the o rings on the drive shafts.

Was lucky enough to snag up a defender trx4m yo I like the those gold treal bead locks might have to look into it and the Low gears are a must nice video and great info on this rig
