This is absolutely stunning and you totally nailed the visuals! All of the little details are brilliant.
"What if Tim Burton made a grilled cheese sandwich"...
Stanley Kubrick making an English fry up...
Step 1: call Jonny Depp and his ex wife to help.
Amazing job! Totally nailed all the little idiosyncrasies of each director in this series pretty genuinely!
I think we all want more #FoodFilms
This is seriously the most magical thing I have ever seen
How about "What if Kubrick made Toast?"
I'm sorry Lord Descole, but I can't allow you to do that.

You can make Edgar Wright and Spike Jones and Bong Joon Ho! Your video is awsome!
Cool
holy fuck these videos are amazing please make more. subscribed
although the titles are misleading, since these are based on the style of a single film by those directors, not the directors' styles (the Tarantino one is only based on Kill Bill, the Cuaron one is only based on Gravity, this one is only based on Grand Budapest, etc.)
What if Christopher Nolan made a Cheeseburger
What if Martin Scorsese made a hot dog
What if Stankley Kubrick made cupcakes
What if Akira Kurosawa made spring rolls
at the end someone shouldve imitated a "WOUUUUUHHHHW."
Instructions unclear, I burned half of the marshmallows.
You forgot the slow motion sequence set to 60s/70s era rock music.
Subbed
alright, WOW
It just has the color pallet of hotel budapest and similar style in music but it also has a lot of mistakes
OK, now your turn to make a video.
This is not just an homage to Budapest. If you truly believe that, please watch a few Wes Anderson movies.
SOOOO butthurt! Sorry snowflake. This guy was missing constructive criticism. If you dont like the video, who cares. But if youre going to criticize something that someones else made and it's such a big deal, why do you give it a try and do it the right way.
Yeah, i said nothing about taking way your free speech so... don't know where that came from.. you must be very upset.
What are the mistakes?
I studied his style already.
Here everything wrong with this (sorry for being blunt)
1. In the first main title card the fancy outline has some mistakes in its opacity, when doing title cards it's always solid lines.
2. The graham crackers are eschewed, something that is most commonly found in Wes Andreson movies is symmetry, it would have been better if you pulled something like that scene in moonrise kingdom, where they list out all of their components, only showing one of each item with their own specific time card.
2. The chocolate bar is shown on an angle you can barely see, you should have evenly placed the chocolate bar on the table behind a sheet of paper preferably of one color.
3. Marshmallows, should have been perfectly symmetrical in the canister, also you should have had that waiter guy be on the side so only his hand opening the container would be in the shot, more like Wes Anderson, also when the waiter lifted up the top of the canister it was not even, you should have had the lid be pulled out of the shot.
4. The candle should have been more open to seeing more of the flames, also, candles aren't really Wes's thing.
5. Breaking the graham crackers, should have been a bigger time card, no need for the magnifying glass unless it is to reveal a twist in the plot or a secret, Anderson only involves magnifying glasses for that reason. Also when breaking the graham crackers you should have focused on one scene, also what is with the graham cracker mess on the table, big thing in Wes Anderson movies is that they are neat unless actually providing context to the story.
5. Positioning the chocolate, you should have written it in a notebook that was even and fit into the middle of the shot, also usually when someone is writing in Wes Anderson movies they are always wearing gloves. You did not need to add the background decoration if you were to then do it in an orderly way. When writing the handwriting has to be neat, the dramatic E was very puting in a so-called Wes Anderson parody. During the time where they straighten up the chocolate, make sure that it's a full four squares to add to the symmetry effect. Also, why did the chocolate become Eskew, it should have been eschewed at first then straightened to create the symmetry effect, There should have been no broken graham character (Wes Anderson's messes are always on purpose and not for decoration).
6. Toasting the marshmallows, The font on the title card has to be in all caps unless cursive, has to be orderly two not just handwritten on a card. You should have not had the random cloth in the shot. Also, you should have adjusted the timer in a different shot on its own, in the middle so it would be in the center. When actually roasting the marshmallows you did a good job, just make sure it shows one person roasting a marshmallow, cleaner of a shot.
7. title card for do not burn marshmallows has a shadow on it, which is not usually seen in wes Andreson time card shots unless something is currently being moved in that shot. Also, you should not have had a cartoon in that style for the title card the font should have been straight in the middle and the cartoon should have been more cleaner (see examples of Wes Anderson's art and title cards in the Grand Budapest hotel.)
8. Should have let the marshmallow burn through the entire shot.
9. When positing the marshmellow it should have shown a square so it could show the layers of said marshmellow, the graham cracker, chocolate, then marshmallow.
10. Only one person to put graham cracker on top of marshmellow, pushed graham cracker down too harshly.
overall iffy attempt to do more research, check out Grand Budapest to really get the feel of how wes likes his desserts, looks more like a BuzzFeed video.
Can i use this song in my youtube video? Please :)
Do ‘what if Tarantino made a big mac’
“What if Guillermo Del Toro made Egg Salad”
where's the whip cam and the slow mo stuff
I sincerely thought the fire was going to be stop motion. Oh well.
What if Christopher Nolan made Fried Noodles..
Can we promote these videos on the TV show "The List" - thelisttv.com ? Would love your permission. We would give you verbal/graphical courtesy.
00:37 wtf are those things?
Marshmallows
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marshmallow
They eat it after heating them on the fire in the U.S.
u forgot bill murray, jason schwartzman, owen wilson, and intelligent/mature children
What about Christopher Nolan?
What if Christopher Nolan please
Valiant effort, but the first shots would
be overhead shots with Wes.
lol ok
Needs more Futura Bold 🙄
Michael Bay's cereal.
Flame artist 😂
No shade but like when anybody does a wes anderson parody they always have to do an exact recreation of that one shot where agatha is looking at the code with a magnifying glass. Why? It’s not like that shot exists in more than one of his movies.
Chic
Gorgeous video, but I hope people know not to do this over a scented candle or they’ll get seriously ill when the fumes stick to their food
It's just art man.....
Food porn watching and I’m supposed to be on a diet.
