    Adrian Brody is the ideal pinnacle of a true actor. He hit an Oscar in the Pianist and now, all he wants to do is have fun. Doesn't matter if the film is bad or good, he just wants some kickass fun in his career and that's really all that matters.

    I really hate H&M, but this is one of the best holiday ads I have ever seen. It’s sophisticated, yet playful and eye-popping. The color-grading and mis-en-scene are spot-on, just like any other Wes Anderson creation, and the soundtrack brings me so much nostalgia. The only thing that would have made this ad better was if it was for another more mature and ethical clothing brand like J. Crew or something. Worth watching in the middle of July.

    • @rottensquid
      @rottensquid ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Those small details are notable because they tell us a lot. The peeling off of the calendar tells us the day, but the snow suggests the month, and the "not now" line raises tension, telling us an emergency has arisen. They seem like quirks, but they're pieces of the story puzzle, interconnected to everything, setting it all in motion.

It's like something out of his movie DarjeeIing Limited. Since Wes Anderson made two movies with animal characters that was done in the Wind in the Willows style, I would love to see Wes Anderson make a movie that's done in the Thomas the Tank Engine model style; that would be great, and the lack of moving mouths on the characters wouldn't bother me a bit.

    the marketing strategies of many companies in recent years have contributed to the development of beliefs centered around the pursuit of wealth, financial independence, and the acquisition of increasingly better and newer goods. This has fueled consumerism. Sustainable consumption should, therefore, involve challenging these beliefs, highlighting the harmful consequences of waste, and developing a proper definition of prosperity that aligns with environmental security as well as the well-being of others.
    We need to redefine our notion of success and well-being, shifting away from a purely materialistic mindset. True prosperity lies not only in personal wealth but also in the preservation of our natural environment and the welfare of fellow human beings. Let us work together to promote a more sustainable form of consumption that values long-term benefits over short-term gains and fosters harmony between human prosperity and the well-being of our planet.
