    This method of making color values editable from a Node group was already clever on its own, but using an array of Color Ramps to mask different sections is a whole new level! Never would've come up with it myself.

    I haven't even begun to watch this yet, but it's exactly what I've been looking for. Since the Allegorithmic takeover by Adobe, I've effectively lost interest in Substance, since as a hobbyist Adobe's payment systems are very unpleasant for me. I know blender probably can't quite match up to the quality level without a whole lot more effort, but his tutorial will give me everything I need to get started with it.

    I'm testing Blender's latest alpha build, and that edit driver menu is now a full menu with a separate UI...its confusing me but i'm trying to incorporate your tutorial info in the new version. it is now a graph editor like the one we use to control flow of frames.

    What’s the difference between procedural textures and PBR textures?

    • @RyanKingArt
      @RyanKingArt  ปีที่แล้ว

      PBR textures are using image files on your computer, like .JPG or PNG, while procedural texture are generated textures created within Blender, like the noise texture.

      I did not disable it. The TH-cam auto subtitles were just not created, I don't know why. And it would take way to much time for me to manually type in all of the subtitles. But I will see if I can get TH-cam to auto generate them.
