I'll admit I've always been a massive fan of the Super Advan...one of the most iconic wheels ever made in my opinion.
That Waka flocka edit had me dying

It goes a LONG way for a company to not let go of their company promise to customers. Which is why I have high regards for Advan Wheels a.k.a Yokohama.

I love my Advan TC III Wheels! I've had them since 2014 on my frs. I purchased the hyper silver ones and in March this year I had them powder coated gloss black to refresh my cars look without getting rid of them. They were 2600 +200 for centercaps in 2014 and then the powder coat job added 680 to them I have them wrapped in MPSS. They damn basically the price of GTs now lol well what I've put into them anyway don't plan on ever getting rid of them. 🤙 They only weigh 19.something lbs I believe. 18x9.5 +45 w/255/35 tires

Advan is one of my favs Great video on a convoluted story. I have owned Advan Sienna Gen II in gold. Classic wheel but a nightmare to clean.
I still love Advan Model 5 Got a ride in a bayside blue R34 GTR with 19x10 Model 5 around 2003. It was owned by Garage SPL in Seattle at the time and toured Hot Import Nights for years.

My most favorite wheels that were ever made in 18 in diameter was the Advan Model 5. And those wheels had ruined me for anything else, because on the car I had at the time of finding those wheels, nothing else was good enough in terms of that style. But there was one company that made an almost identical wheel, that got me 95% of the way there that I could actually afford...that company was ADR. Now for a lot of sports car body cars, I can't have anything but that curving twin 5 spoke style.

Awesome video very informative, just got me a set of advan gt premium so glad I did
I love my Advan's! RS-DF Progressive 19"x8.5" +37 5x114.3 finish is Machining & Racing Hyper Black. Some of the best wheels for performance that are pretty nice looking, only ~18.7 lbs per wheel, incredibly light for the size and being a forged wheel, and have stronger deflection rating than TE37's. Really can't beat them if you're looking for the lightest weight forged 19's that are track worthy strong and have far more caliper clearance for big brakes than the RZ-DF's, although the RZ-DF's in a 19"x8.5" +38 5x114.3 in the same finish are about 18.2 lbs each, and look a little nicer imo, but don't have the caliper clearance or quite the total strength and deflection resistance that the RS-DF Progressives have.
Sure, there are stronger wheels out there, but they're all heavier, and sure there's lighter wheels out there, but they're not as strong. Unless you count ~$20k carbon fiber wheels, but those tend to have a brittleness to them and are ~5x the cost. So for the price, really can't beat them.
I run advan on my Nsx and evo and all my
other cars because of that reason. Love their wheels!
Sick! I just ordered Advan tires to mount on some PF05s because they were the cheapest available in the size I need (and I’ve heard the name around) Glad to find out they’re pretty reputable.

Been rocking Advan RS-Ds (19 inchers) on my IS250 for 10 years in a black chrome coating. Beat the crap out of them and they took it like a champ. The parts that werent hammered into curbs still look day 1 fresh. After hearing their back story, I'm never buying another brand (except may Volk Racing or Work, haha)

I just bought a mint condition second hand set of Advan Racing RS2 in hyper silver 18x8J 42mm offset for my 2013 Audi S4 Sedan in Misano Red. They should arrive hopefully early next week. Fingers crossed they fit over the brakes! Hopefully they look as good as I think they will. Does anyone know what the load limit is for the RS2 18x8J with 5x112 stud pattern? The S4 is 1705kg without passengers so I hope I wont be overloading the RS2.
I love my Advan TC II wheels! Now if I could just find some spoke plugs for them. That would be great!
