Can we find booster box CASES in Tokyo?

- Today I will take to a store which I heard doesn't sell only Pokemon booster boxes, but entire CASES of Pokemon booster boxes! Right in the center of Akihabara, follow me to this hidden gem with EXTRA low prices!

It's only $65 on tiktok for a sealed 151 booster box in the USA. Why does it cost $75 in Japan when the MSRP is $35?
I do not have a unique answer to this questions as there could be several reasons :
- Japan never got the TikTok trend the West got last year with huge discounts.
- In Japan also you can find it at $65 at the moment, but as soon as a store has it for this price it gets sold out so unless you get there within an hour after restock it is very hard to get them.
- The last reason is that physical stores in Japan don’t have access to 151 at msrp anymore (they never did except at release and early April when there was a global restock). All the boxes they do get are from customers buyback. So depending on the day, as 151 price is fluctuating a lot these past weeks, if they bought it for a certain price and the price drops the next day, they won’t adjust their price tag cause they gotta get their money back on these boxes.

@kirachiu8843 Hi! They've come down quite a lot. As of today i've seen the boxes at around 8500yen a piece (so that would be roughly $55 as of today's rate). Cases you are very unlikely to find any.

Thanks! They do have both, but vstar is sold with the shrink wrap, and 151 is now only sold by the pack, up to 40 packs per person (so you don’t even get the box)
Great to see Japan, brings back great memories. And great to see love for Japanese cards, ive been adding them to my current gen-1 collection and really like the mix of Japanese and English.

Hey nick, just subscribed as I like your videos! Just want to ask if the sealed boxes here are as cheap as they get in Tokyo? Or are there better places to buy cheaper sealed boxes there 🙏
Tough question, and the answer changes several times a year as new stores open regularly. But I’d say as of now, Bee Honpo and Shinsoku are probably the cheapest, with the difference being Shinsoku is always cheap. Bee Honpo on average is slightly higher than Shinsoku but when they have products on sale (once or twice a week), they beat Shinsoku.

Strangely in Japan we haven’t heard about the dragon set. The next set is night wanderer, followed by stellar miracle on July 19th.

What I heard is that convenient stores will get a restock in June. Now whether it will be with or without shrink, the mystery remains…

You don’t know? Every sealed Eevee heroes has a moonbreon inside? :-) Same as every sealed 151 has a Pikachu Masterball (you actually got a proof for this one xD)

Hi! You can find it almost everywhere at the moment. In Akihabara Shinsoku, Bee Honpo, Pocket Center or Origin are some examples.

@@TonyyHD As I said, you can find 151 in Shinsoku, Bee Honpo, Pocket Center or Card Shop Origin. Among other places of course :-) Everybody is looking for 151 so almost all card shops have it in stock :-)
