Since you got a new car, I wanted to give you a few tips my entire family used to keep the car clean when we were little; First and foremost, keep crayons out of the car! They will melt and you can smell them. Also, if you are planning on eating any time in the car, invest in a seat cover that covers the bottom part (the seat not the back), that only has room for seat belt holes, so crumbs do not get on the seat. Having a washer-safe one would be a plus. Lastly, get a light-weight lap seat for Carter and the future baby (one that clips on the seat is good, but you can do whatever), which is a start to preventing mess from food or toys. I’m an ambassador for a women’s hiking group, so I keep a plastic bin full of extra layers, hats, gloves, bottled water, power bars, first aid, etc in my trunk in case any girls need gear or supplies! Keep up the amazing content, so many great ideas!

Love all your tips! I keep scissors, note pad, pen, extra plastic spoon, forks,, knives and bug bracelet in my glove compartment. I keep a thick plain shower curtain in the back to keep carpeting clean. Also, a safety kit with flair. We have a black blanket that is waterproof on one side,too!

I also keep small bags/cans of dog and cat food and bottles of water in case I see a stray animal in a parking lot. I can't tell you how many dogs and cats that I have fed or left food for. Amazing idea! 💖 - I personally have on top of these: a toilet roll in my car!!! :-) Because you never know.. and if you need to stop somewhere (petrol station, etc.) where they have no roll... that is just not good... :-D - I always have a bottle of water and some snacks with me as well, if I stuck in a traffic jam, or sg happens I can eat and drink :-) - Handcream and lip balm, extra CD-s, chargers, small torch, tissues, antibacterial handwash, pen, paper, small change ( for parking, etc.) - I have window spray and a blue roll to wipe the mirrors and windows - just in case if the windscreen washer fluid runs out :-)) (It happened before on a long road trip and our screen was just messy and we could hardly see and no petrol station nearby for hours..) - Since we snowed in 2x already into our workplace and couldn't get home... I have wellies and snow chain as well in our car :-)) - Blankets, neck pillow, travel pillow! Also in my handbag I always have some medicine (for headache, Vitamin B6 for nausea and nervousness, Rennie antacid for my tummy if needed), 500mg Calcium for potential allergic reaction for something, essential oils. These come with me everywhere, in my car, too :-)) I think I am a bit of a "worst case scenario girl" but better safe than sorry isn't it? :-)) 💖

I use my laundry trolley and basket to carry my groceries in from my car 🚗, saves going back and forth with carry bags that are often too heavy for me to carry. 👍👍💞💞🇦🇺

Love the ideas! I'd suggest a little tool set and a jump cables. They sell them as sets, now days you can call for help but just in case you need to have a car jump started or help someone. I've had to use it before. Nice things to keep in the trunk.

I keep an entire collection of Sonia Kashuk Makeup Bags from Target to keep my truck organized. I have an essentials bag, emergency kit bag, electronics bag, and toy bag. However I don’t have a trash bin 😭 and I definitely need that insanely awesome flashlight, seatbelt cutter, window smasher thingy! I’ve always kept my eyes open for something like that. I recommend that anyone who commutes or eats in their car keep a Tide-to-go in your car. It's saved me and my family/friends so many times!
I kept a small first aid in my car, I know it's not an organisation thing but it's just as important 😊

During the winter I would recommend to keep things in your car incase you break down. Thick blanket, warm socks, warm pants, water, and some food. 🙂
