You should definitely consider a 507 edition. You may prefer it over a normal one

@@ahmadfraij9609 similar but the c63 has a harsher aggressive sound. I think due to shorter exhaust pipes due to the car being more compact than the E class

Bought one 2 years ago on 77k for £19,500 (facelift coupe) now on 85k miles and it's at 22k. Sensible purchase :D

If you are considering a C63 AMG of this gen, why not get the Black Series. And if the Black Series is too expensive of a purchase, a 507 Edition might tickle your fancy.
507 is fantastic . I have one.
This car is a tune away from having the same or more power than a 507. Why not save the $20k
Although the the 507 holds rarity over the standard C63, it doesn’t warrant having a £15k premium over the standard C63. Most of the changes are cosmetic and you can get your car like a 507, for a very small fraction of the price.

Great vid Tom, I'm delighted to see you featuring the C63 AMG on your channel. These are iconic cars, and I feel they will become modern day classics at some point. As an all rounder it's hard to beat. I test drove a white C63 AMG Coupe 7 years ago and it was awesome. The sound and acceleration blew my mind. As for the C63 estate version, I remember Clarkson test driving it against an M5 estate on a runway at Manchester Airport, and the C63 coming out on top. Hard to find more bang for your buck!👍
That was an E63 AMG estate that eas up against the M5 touting mate. I’m on my second C63 AMG coupe W204 and although starting to look a bit dated now the engine and noise is hard to beat
The 2 door version on this model year has weird proportions, the 4 door looks right , but the next gen 2 door & 4 door versions hits the spot

I had a facelift saloon with a quaife diff, stage 1 engine software, forged 507 ed wheels and it was a serious machine. Should have kept it forever
Got my one a month ago pre face lift and absolutely love it pure chaos best thing on 4 wheels in my eyes
If you get a stock one and spend £4k to get stage 2 (headers and a tune) and an LSD, it will keep up with the newer models while looking better and being way more exciting. No brainer. Plus no depreciation
A tempting prospect. Even more tempted towards the estate version which is super thin on the ground versus the coupe and saloon. Not offended by the first generation looks and do wonder how much of a difference there may be between one of those versus the test car. Well worth keeping a look out. Thank you.
Absolutely love these... Especially the awesome sound! I do like the coupe version but I love the wagon and the saloon more. Some lucky so and so is going to win this and look very cool indeed! 👏

For my own taste, I prefer the look of the sedan/saloon, but these sound SO good! Definitely good value for the price

Just got myself a pristine sedan C63 with the performance pack (SLS Engine components) and 20‘000 miles on the clock. Absolutely love it already. It has so much character.

My dad had one of these in silver with red leather and was fully specced with leather dash lsd pan roof and the lot. Kept it for a year and made about 6k on it. This cars only going up up up
Love mine, I've got the 4door variant of the same year. I must say spend the cash on a quality full synthetic oil. The difference is astounding. Maybe a second cat delete for a better soundtrack. Enjoy pal, such a fun car that makes you smile every time you boot it. 👍🤙

Tom speaks yet more truth 👏. I got a 66 plate C63 coupe a couple of years back, and even that is worth the same as I paid for it if not a touch more now. As Tom would say, get in the pot now!
US manufacturers still make big displacement engines, I have a 2019 6.4L Challenger 6-speed manual.
Had the chance to buy a low mileage example for 18k last year, big regret. Got talked out of it because of running costs.

ive got one c63 with just shy off 55k miles, ive kept it as a some sort investment, i paid 23 for it a year ago, i also bought a fiat panda to keep the miles low on the c63. the c63 is a 62 plate and it's the funniest car to own.
The coupe never had pre-facelift variant afaik. Coupe came along with the sedan facelift in 2011.

Definitely is the only answer.. I've had a fair few. Prefer the saloon. Make sure its got the Performance Pack Plus option, LSD , a cheeky Milltek sec decat and you're onto a winner.
Why the saloon? Isn't coupe more rare?
@@oscardominguez1680 You can pick coupes up cheaper generally. Even the 507's.. the estates and saloons are slightly rarer to come by.
@@shohaibsaleem4443 oh didn't know, in Sweden saloons and estates are the most common C63s.. so coupes are rare and more expensive

Ragged out this exact car, 4 years ago. It used to be rental car in East London
Had one, bloody awesome. Badly under tyred on the rear so traction is non existent in anything but bone dry weather. Noise is brilliant, mpg is horrendous. I averaged 17mpg in my ownership and got really bored of filling up as the petrol tank isn’t that big
It’s the only car I regret getting rid of!
