Cheetah is a brand created by Chuck Greamiger and he was very active in competitions with US V8 powered cars. But if you want really something totally unknown in the USA, you can show the creations Franco Sbarro realized in his small workshop in Yverdon, I'm sure you will be surprised... Still alive, Sbarro created a car design school in neighboring France. When I was young, I had to make works for Sbarro, Greamiger and some others, mainly engine tuners.
Ok, good info but if you're going to talk about cars(or any subject for that matter) please learn how to pronounce common words. Tachometer for example. It's pronounced, "tack-ometer", not "tuck-ometer. "
I almost bought one of these in the 70s. Very nice and easy to maintain sports car.
