Interpreting statistics... There's a meme going around that there's a notable drop in frequency of crime, coincident with Mother's Day. The obvious conclusion being that it's because Mothers are too distracted with being taken out to brunch and other family events to commit the crimes that they otherwise might commit on any other given day. So the message -- do your part -- help keep Mom off the streets today.
The sad part is that I have seen many of those interpretations of stats done seriously. My brother, who is a scientist, has a similar joke on interpreting research data: “A scientist is studying fleas. They tell the flea to jump and the flea jumps. They repeat and the flea jumps at the command every time. Now the scientist pulls off the legs of the flea. They tell the flea to jump and the flea doesn’t jump. They repeat louder and louder and still the flea doesn’t jump. Conclusion: if you pull the legs off the flea the flea becomes deaf.” 😁😂
This brings back Beau's comment about the UN voting for the US to invade Canada. The US vetoes it and three or more countries veto their veto. How does that make it more functional?
- I think you mean "override a veto," not "veto a veto." The US Congress can vote, in overwhelming numbers, to override a veto of a bill they passed and a president vetoed. In the UN, I'm not sure how they'd set it up, but it would be a change in the rules to override a veto in the Security Council. It could be all the other Security Council members, all the member nations, a CRAZY portion of nations, or some majority nats PLUS more than half of the Security Council. Something like that. Possible, but it sounds like too much work for the UN, especially if it involves those on the Security Council having to agree to give up their power/control.
@@zinaj9437 You are right about "override a veto" I aslo knew that when I wote it. If you look I was answering a post and I was quoting their words in my comment..

Now that I think about it, I have been having abnormal amounts of headaches lately. Should probably get that looked at.
The brain worm and the mercury poisoning supposedly were about twelve years ago, and were diagnosed because he was experiencing some cognitive difficulties. There are likely exceptions to this guideline, but I think that experiencing cognitive difficulties within recent history should be an automatic reason for someone to exclude themselves from running for what has been called the most difficult job on the planet. There are plenty of other ways to serve the people.
Jr underwent treatment to remove the mercury and treated the hep C from when he was an active addict. No matter how much he denies or wishes it was different, the brain that was damaged can't be repaired or regenerated. It's like Jr thinks the Presidency is his birthright. His dad and uncles would be appalled.

Can't wait to see when Puppet Beau will appear again, it seems the internet folks love him.
Well, if we have to be grown-up & serious about the Brain Worm Story
This is a caution regarding the existence of microscopic parasitical infections
There are places in the world, where if you go swimming, you will wish you did not
( You get normal tabloid stories like this on a semi-regular basis )
Excellent puppet!!!
1:15 Antagabeau! He's the beau that will say what IRL beau wouldn't normally say
Beau, you've arrived! Your very own puppet... ❤
Thank You to Beau and Crew for their hard work. 😎
It's always a good day when you can take a trip down the roads with Beau! 👋 ✌️
Hillary, stop helping! Just stop!
Happy Mother’s Day!
My brother, who is a scientist, has a similar joke on interpreting research data:
“A scientist is studying fleas.
I think the UN security council should be able to veto a veto with three or more votes. Might make it a bit more functional.
This brings back Beau's comment about the UN voting for the US to invade Canada. The US vetoes it and three or more countries veto their veto. How does that make it more functional?
- I think you mean "override a veto," not "veto a veto."
The US Congress can vote, in overwhelming numbers, to override a veto of a bill they passed and a president vetoed.
Oops, I forgot about the override thing. My knowledge, social skills, and some brain functions have been degrading since covid hit, could be lack of practice. I just hope it isn't worse than that.
Puppet is awesome. Are you kidding you don't know what to use it for? Let it host, so you get time of occasionally 😜
You know you're Somebody when you get your own muppet! But which came first, the muppet or the Beau?
I think I'd rather get the espionage charge than have my wife learn I had an affair.
Beau, you might have overlooked mentioning in 1948, the USA was the first country to recognize Israel as a sovereign country. That's what opened the door to Israel being recognized and admitted into the UN.
That puppet head is so much fun! While it is definitely a caricature, it's immediately recognizable as Beau. I hope he puts it to some fun use!
I can't believe we are at EP 38! I sure do enjoy these so please keep them coming.
Thank you. And happy mother’s day to all the mothers.
“And the worms ate into his brain” ….Pink Floyd prophecy!
Beauppet needs a segment of his own to host.
We can now have Beau do Socratic dialogues with Muppet Beau.
I'm a lot more concerned about the mercury poisoning than the brain worm, to be honest. That will cause lasting damage.
8:10 I can see the campaign signs now.
Trump/Lecter 2024.
Make America Grub Again! 😆
I LOVE THE BEAU MUPPET HANDPUPPET!!!!!! My daughter immediately took a screenshot of it, and with a little bit of trimming, that gorgeous mug is my discord thumbnail now! My hat's off to the craftsperson who fashioned this!!! As a craftsperson myself, I can see that a lot of love and dedication was involved with this. I'm looking forward to future appearances of Beau McMuppet--I bet it's going to be GLORIOUS!!!
On the Roads again and it's number 38, on the highway on the byway
I can almost hear a folksy song there.

That puppet is amazing and so much fun!
Oh, Beau!! That puppet is a work of art!! Ya’ know, many of us have wanted you to find an appropriate stand in, to give you a break,…………..🤭
AWESOME puppet! No doubt who it represents. Job well done! Can't wait to see it in action!
Happy Solar Storming, Earthlings!
😉 what makes you so sure we are all earthlings? Lol😂
@@DeAnnaG_KissingFrogsMedia Wait, is that you, XB-371? Command never mentioned that other detachments from Blorgoid were active in this sector. 🤔
Best wishes on your mission. 🖖
Happy Mother’s Day Beau’s Peeps
Back at you, my friend. Pleasant day to all. Love the puppet. Very talented viewers out there.
I would love a deep dive into that period of history. That context is missing in a lot of the commentary today
To help us keep our sanity during this very dark and troubling time…I think all of your videos should now include puppets. ☺️👍
Kudos to the artist that created puppet Beau! Awesome!
I think RFK jrs brain worm is the single greatest gifts to political comedy writers that I've heard of in my 60yrs of loving politics, history, and above all comedy. LOL.
Beau did say he probably needed a second person to help report all the video ideas he wanted to make...
