However the characters look terrible in game because they have some weird lighting effect that makes them stand out like a sore thumb and the city has this boring brick look to it. No variation in city design.
It doesn't make much difference as people think it does. Imagine spending thousands of dollars to play the same games that looks exactly the same even with texture mods

The rain makes it look noisy because the sharpening is so high
I love the content from this channel but I think a ton of improvements can be made to get the look correct
IMO it's looking better than the blurry mess we're getting served nowadays, its the atrociously low FPS that makes it look bad.
