You can enter the double gamma fight without the gravity suit by going in the submerged part of distribution center by using one of the morph ball pipe things that are over it. This would make the screw attack necessary and the gravity not. You still should grab the gravity for the time save in the water and easier time in breeding grounds, but still nice to know.

you can take the backdoor on the double gamma fight by going over one of the bubble walls in a secret path, then when you get to the speed booster blocks, shoot a missile up (gotta hear the noise though)
also if you shoot a super on the top of the east wall of where the power bomb blocks are, go in there, and shoot another down, you can skip the power bombs, but that does make the screw attack required
