- We went head to head with our two favourite expedition camping chairs. Mike had the ARB Old Man Emu Compact Directors Chair and Jed has the Front Runner Expander Chair, but who is the winner?

Great comparison. Horses for courses by all accounts but for me the OME chair would win out.
You guys could do with a sound proofed area for indoor videos to deal with echo unless you can edit that out somehow with sotware (put it in with the many awesome jobs to do in your new home) but I should say I am grateful for every review you put out.

Get the mic on the person, even in an acoustically untreated room, will make a big difference. Never do audio from the camera.

This was close, but based on size and the minimalist look I'm going with Jed. We obvs have about a million kids in our wagon, so any space we can save makes all the difference. I did like Mikes fold out beer platform though. One for the shopping list. Good work guys 💪

I have the traditional arb chair. These seem a nice upgrade size wise
The OME chair is very similar to my Darche Firefly Chair, probably both made in the same factory.

What is the measurements of the ARB while packed?
Good video apart from the Sound quality is pants. It sounds like you make the video in a cave.
Need top stick up some sound proofing to remove echo.
Accent combined with echo makes understanding what you are saying.... well difficult.... I just bought the OME chair.
The one chair would be great to carry in the back of the ute what's the price?

... the Emu front cross bars look like they will hurt your legs when not sitting bolt up-right ? ... ;o( ... mb ...
You don't feel them at all actually. The seat portion flexes down somewhat but not enough to come in contact with the bars.
Thing is the emu is basicaly double the price against the frontrunner in my country
Terrible audio, as others have said. You need mikes. That room is way too reverberant and a lot of the comments were totally inaudible.
Sound a bit bad, location to do the video was very wrong lol, I lost interest after less than 2 mins...lol.
You have a pair of things called legs. Why not use them, and get out of the chair and fetch a drink? Unless you're a paraplegic, I'd probably opt for the Font Runner.
