- This week's movie is BELLY (1998)! This movie had some powerful messages, especially when it comes to Nas and DMX's characters. This is a movie that our youth should watch to be reminded that there are betters ways of life than drugs, alcohol and violence. This movie was full of entertainers I love such as T-Boz and Method Man! I can't wait for you guys to see my reaction to this one! If you have other iconic black movies to recommend, please send them by way!

Nas rapped the scene with him and the kid on the park bench, when he gave him the jewels on his first album on the song One Love.
She’s shiny cause Hype Williams directed the movie he was famous 90s music video director, he was a art major in college

20:03 sin didn’t have a record so it was a clean name…he didn’t give him up
Loved the Reaction. I grew up watching this on 📼 & the soundtrack is a Gem still knocks ti'll this day. After this role Nas was also on "In Too Deep"(1999) & "Ticker"(2001) a Steven Seagal Film.
Also "Half Past Dead"(2002) with Ja Rule & Steven Seagal,Good Films
I will be adding all those movies to my list! Thanks for watching and for the suggestions! 💛
This movie is amazing. Thanks for checking it out. It doesn't get the attention it deserves!
Couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching and for commenting ❤️
I watch this as a teen and thought it was cool for all the gangsta shit go big. Watched it again in my 20s and thought it sucked because of the weird lighting and poor acting. Watching again in my 39s and realized I missed the entire message of the movie this whole time.smh. Great movie and great storytelling. True classic
