@emario I’m not sure, I don’t dabble in any of that stuff, the joke is just within context of the Mario Party DS Pirated copy thing
I use emulators a lot, there’s no real way for the game to tell that it’s not legitimate. Some games found ways to try to stop you from using emulators, but there weren’t that many and they could mostly be solved very simply. The game puggsy (or however you spell it I’m not sure) on the sega genesis made it so that if you had your emulator set to save the s-ram automatically it wouldn’t work. Puggsy used a password system just for this anti piracy measure, it backfired though because you could just turn off s-ram saves on your emulator and it would work. Im sorry for ranting about puggsy

I like how Hallyboo isn't just a nightmare, he's a pastiche of the overly vengenceful host who hates piracy:
He's trapped in his beliefs of thinking that piracy is a crime against humanity, he assumed that you stole the game because you were fully evil, he thinks that the world is going to die because of this theft and he tries to intimidate you.
But because of thay, because he thinks the player is a monster, because he tries to traumatise him to death, he become the monster, and the player appears as the poor bullied guy.

I can see this all happening because of King Boo giving him a pirated invitation and all of this is because of a seemingly perfect crime. From what I remember, you only see Mario in these sorts of things at the anti piracy screen and I know that scene's because of Bowser, but I'm just doing a stupid idea.

It’s dark if you think about it. Luigis being punished even though he did do nothing, it’s the player who pirated the game. Luigi was selected by the player and is being punished for the players crimes. At least, that’s what I think.

@@v-gamer64 You can't seem to, sadly. Even with a TAS, it just takes you to the AP self report system. Giving it a hex value could work, but eh, I don't know anything about this type of stuff.

@@bubblegum7838 Theoretically it would circumvent the AP detection entirely. That hex value is the only consistency between all the videos, so if the game had something to call upon at that value, it wouldn't know it was a pirated copy.
(I know it's all fake but that is an actual real AP detection measure, to call for something specific and if it doesn't get the desired response it locks up)
I can just imagine a spoof of the ultimate world spun with MC Hallyboo and freaking YAPE replacing dimentio and Marx. Jevil would just be in the middle looking conflicted whether this is the chaos he wanted or not. HB and YAPE definitely have that sort of chaos vibe that may even perturb jevil.
