      @@yungchildsupport4445No, it's because men often strive to be breadwinners as well, but when it comes to women it's immediately met with hostility, which is being a hypocrite.
      Often times, the family situation makes it so that the woman earns more, if a man finds that a red flag, then he clearly isn't mature.
      What matters more? Getting your ego hurt cause your wife earns more? Or getting a good life and pooling your finances for team work?
      That's the difference. I've seen plenty of men get egotistical when a woman earns more than them. You can't be ignorant and say that people don't think that way.

    • @sparkyblue7016
      @sparkyblue7016 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@yungchildsupport4445Also, with today's world, let's be real, quite a few women earn as much as men if not more, or are the only earning individual of the household.
      If traditional values matter to you more than a good life, then earn high enough to get your wife to stay at home. So many men demand their wives not work while being poor.

    That man cracked the code to a healthy happy marriage. Everything in a marriage is a team effort and neither side is doing it right if they are making unilateral decisions. What he meant is that for example Husbands Wife earns more, now husband gets a job offer that would improve the financial situation of the marriage but make the husband earn the same as the woman. This would "demote" the woman from bread earner but be better for both. A partner set on being the bread earner might now try to avoid this improvement because it would take that "title" away from them.

      Not buying it. If the question was is it a red flag for a man to be the breadwinner he would have said yes sooo... yeah still sounds like he is making excuses to be sexist. • @jonathanelliott4577
      @jonathanelliott4577 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Lulu-mj2fi I wouldn’t mind if my future wife was the breadwinner. The red flag was that she wants to be the breadwinner, so that only makes sense if it’s for the benefit of the family. As for sharing money, he said they do, as in they have a joint bank account used to pay family bills, but their separate ones are for personal things and gift giving. Good for them if they aren’t living paycheck to paycheck, but my dad is always monitoring the bank account to see where she spends money and how much. It does keep a man from buying porn or gambling, but I doubt that’s a big problem in most relationships. If either of them wants to work extra, then it’s fair if either of them wants to use it. It helps it so one doesn’t do all the spending while the other does all the work.
