This is not true for the golden child of narcissistic parents. Most men have raja beta syndrome and they dont see the red flags in their own parents and siblings. Basic needs of the bahu are projected as demands. It gets really messy. What they want is a codependent female who has really put up with anything for the sake of being accepted as achi bahu. Why can't a girl take a first move and ask to meet if she is interested in him? Also if she is asking you to meet in a specific place, can't that specific place be a peaceful cafe or restaurant?

Completely wrong. Lot of people from both the genders don't have friends nor they have ideal parents. Lot of Indians are depressed coz of no real connection with anyone. You will ruminate and remain single forever, not all points are correct.
Now before you look for love -
1. Keep your aura and energies clean and protected. Raise your instinct and awareness. Be highly conscious and self aware. Don't engage in causal s*x and protect your core. (All this will help when your relationship has started)
2. Don't look for love. When your karma is clear, you are ready and destined, you may meet the person unexpectedly. (The instincts that you raised will help you in understanding if the person is destined for you or not)
3. Keep yourself first to retain self-love but have love, respect, kindness and the heart to choose each other everyday over all your friends, family and kids. That's the only way love will last long till old age. (Small sacrifices everyday but you don't feel regret in your heart, probably you aren't doing anything wrong and that's the right person)
Lastly give it enough time to test the equation, dynamics of two personalities coming together, values, vibe around the person before saying 'Yes'. I gave it 1 year. (Remember, the slower it starts, the longer it lasts) ❤

I stayed put to see if 'I am red flag or not'! This type of discussion is quite interesting. But I have a problem with 2 points that she mentioned_ 1) introvert having no friend [I never wanted to be introvert but situation and society made me so. a) Situation= My parents are separated so when my friends (guys and girls) heard about it, they stopped talking to me. b) Society= still considers this condition (not having a father-like figure) a social stigma. I don't have any contact with my paternal side cousins and as I live in my grandpa's house my maternal side cousins feel insecure about it; again I am lonely because I am choosy. I can't just spend around with friends who don't match my personality. I do not want to convince boys that just because I pretend to have so many friends (comes at the expense of my dignity) means I am a very friendly girl. It was indeed a judgmental statement]. In due course of time, I isolated myself from both family and friends. Now, whenever I am approached by guys, they want to know about my friends, and I remain blank and boys have the opportunity to judge me all the time. 2) If I want to date an unknown individual, I always want to meet him in a place I've been to several times before so that I can feel comfortable and protected.
Only solution, just focus on your own life boys, you get this chance to live a human life once, don't waste it

Think about all the efforts you will have to put into your son while growing him up and then a woman comes and take your son away for life and you are just left alone in your old age....how will you feel ??
Are you even comfortable with your bhai and bhabhi leaving your mother & father alone?? Who will take care of your mom & dad if your brother and sister-in-law leave them alone..... I don't think children should leave parents alone in their old age at any cost because they are the one who have given their time & energy for growing us and now, it is our time to take care of them and give them love, support and care... because old age is itself a curse.....we as youngsters can't even think how things change with our parents when they turn old ....their health....their thinking abilities.... everything changes....we should definitely not leave them alone at such a vulnerable time....❤

When a woman with some red flags gets married to a strong (who is dominating and yet fair, competent, and kind) husband who puts boundaries for her and he does not tolerate any of her BS, then the same woman falls in line. She starts to respect the husband and starts to obey him. Marriage becomes happy for both. Keyword is strength. He must be strong. She must know and believe that if she crosses the boundaries, he will divorce her without delay, no matter the cost.

We all know how fake dowry harrasment cases by wives against their innocent husbands ruin them, both financially and mentally. Giving your working ex wife maintenance or alimony after a failed marriage is the biggest loophole women can enjoy. I left India for US at a young age and India does not allow "no-fault divorce" which is a good thing because in US, wives are divorcing their perfectly good husbands for no reasons (just out of boredom). It seems wives (but not husbands) get bored with their current spouses after 5-10 years of marriage and start cheating and divorcing.
