I still like the new port more because of skill inheritance and Raidou, but I'm mostly not a big fan of how they changed the lighting. They made the Preta jumpscare in the first dungeon quite tame with this change, and also introduced some small bugs in some shadows (check out how that inverted Jack Frost from that dungeon you walk upside down projects a weird shadow on the ground). It does look good in a lot of scenes though. HD is still my favorite port but I wish we could mod it into looking a bit more like the PS2 version. It's a bit like how P4 Golden's visuals were pretty lackluster in comparison to the PS2 original.
