Looks truly amazing a place I could find my self building a log cabin and finishing my days out enjoying life. The older I get the faster time goes by thanks for the post
Gadgets and gizmos of plenty...a girl after my own heart! Love your confidence out in the woods, it's inspiring. Thank you for sharing. Congrats on the new beer launch, label looks great!
Thanks so much Carrena for taking us along with you and the Griz man while you did your part in feeding those poor starving bugs. That was some absolutely beautiful wilderness you were in. Loved it
Thank you Alexis, it is so nice that you, & the Shepard can get outdoors to enjoy the beautiful of the land. So much beauty in the world that some people will never see! Be safe, stay healthy, & God Bless everyone! Love the channel.
Wow! What a trip! I really loved the falls! Thanks for taking us along for the ride, and please be careful especially on your solo trips! So awesome to see Grizz out enjoying himself again! Take care and love, hugs and peace!😀✌
Glad to see you and Grizz out and about. Unfortunately it made me cry. My girl Blue just past away the other night when we went to bed. Enjoy those beautiful memories.
Grizz is a cool dog and I'm sure a great companion. I've watched several of your videos and am constantly impressed with your abilities and your gutsiness. Way to go Alexis. Keep it up.
I've said it since before Instagram/Tik Tok made it viral - It is by giving our dogs their best life that we end up living out our own as well. Great video! :)
Hello from Minnesota USA!! Another great episode! Great to see you and Griz back out together! Never say your weird for loving cool outdoors equipment!! We love you because of it!!😁
What a great day trip, good to see Grizz out being Grizz. What a neat spot at the falls. I bet that beer really hit the spot after all the portages and paddling.
Awesome video!!! Grizz looks great!! Glad to see him back to "normal". I felt that rock when you fell!! Been there done that. At least you left it in the video - that's what I like about you - not afraid to show that adventures sometimes bring the pain!! Winter brings the big hair, curls unleashed - summer temps and water trips bring the sweat-head, hat-hair, flatness..... that's what I like about you - not afraid to show that either!! Love watching Grizz shake off the water!!! He likes the bug about as much as I do!! Thanks for sharing the video. I know it's a lot of work putting these things together and I appreciate all you do to make them. Awesome outing!!
Girl you are my hero!!!! So glad you’re ok! Glad Griz is with you! Maybe carry some Lavender essential oil with you to combat the bugs. And some sage to put in the fire. You ought to sleep like a baby after that!
Definitely love this video and I will say one of my favorites. For anyone who has portaged she made it look easy and I have done my share so trust me. I give you a high five on this video. Thank you once again for another bomb video. Brightest blessings to you and may you never run out of trails and water.
I've learned to never go off the MH direction when it comes to adding their water amount. If directions say use one cup of water, use 3/4 cup you can always add if needed. Thank you for sharing such peaceful, beautiful country with us.
Hello 👋 Alexis, greetings from Northern California. You and Grizz had quite an adventure, thank you for sharing it. You filmed som beautiful country. I'm a little bit envious. California is drying up. Always the best of good things for you, Grizz and your loved ones. Stay safe and healthy out there. 🤗
Quit the slog but such a beautiful area and falls , looked like a great place to camp out , Awesome to see Grizz out enjoying this adventure with you thanks for bring us with you two.
That was a great trip. Good camera work bud. And your not weird. You're just smarter than most. Tuff to a. Thanks for bringing us along. Cheers 🍻 again.
Thank you for the adventure! I loved seeing Griz out and about again! He is such a great companion while you are out! I felt that fall and I was scratching and itching right along with you! I like TerraShield by DoTerra for bugs, but those deer flies take flesh! Well, you must have had the last beer (Birch Blonde) because it’s all sold out! :( I’m glad that you had a good day out, that looked like a hard slog to me! See you and Griz on the next one! 🍻
Leatherman multi tools are awsome you will love it I bought mine when they were 100 bucks at Lebanon no longer in business keep doing what your doing glad grizz is loving it again.
Wow!!! All my life i searched for a partner of such beauty and adventure..Believe me when i say that theres not many around..Your inspirational and continue your videos .Happy trails .
Great vlog Alexis. Definitely a bit of a work out for you but absolutely worth the effort. Stunning location. Lovely to see Grizz getting back to what he does best. He certainly had a great time back with nature.
Hi Alexis, it is very nice to see you together with Grizz, you have a very challenging advanture in an amazing nature. While watching I felt your tiredness but after all of these you relaxed in gorgeous waters with Grizz. Thanks such a nice video and congratulations for having a beer of your own. Stay well with Grizz....🐶🌿🍁🍀🍂⚘
I like your videos very much, so heartfelt what you do and you live it. your dog is great, wow that he has recovered so well and has fun again with you to experience adventures. you have your own beer that is the madness. stay as you are and keep it up. greetings from germany
Thanks for sharing this adventure. It's not often we get to see women roughing it and enjoying the outdoors. You just inspired me to get outdoor more. Living in the City can really stress you out. I just have to figure out how to do this with my 11 yr son who loves staying home playing video games. Our little dog would surely enjoy the adventure. It will be hard though trying to find a beautiful place like you did up in Canada. I think I'll watch more of your videos from the very beginning to better prepare myself.
Thanks for the flashback; ouch! I had a similar fall in Temagami with a heavy backpack, tripped on one rock and hit my kneecap on a sharp rock sticking up in the middle of the Portage Trail; thought I shattered my kneecap. You're right, it can happen so fast. Glad to see you two back in your elements. Happy paddling in 2022+...
Great vid, a lot of ground you had to cover just to have a swim but worth it with the scenery. One sometimes has to work for that special bit of joy. Pup sure enjoyed it. That essential kit is something fast becoming essential in our daily lives. Thanks for sharing Alexis
Last year my friend sprained her ankle on some rocks during a portage out in the middle of Algonquin. So glad it wasnt worse, she took it like a champ and finished out an epic girl's trip camping on an tiny island 🏕 🏞 Been out on the kayak a couple times this year out in tobermory and my area a bit (which near high falls actually) 😋 but I definitely want to go back to Algonquin very soon it's just so incredible there 🛶 Happy adventures and stay safe 🖖
Glad to see you and Grizz out and about on another adventure. I was just thinking to myself that I hoped you wouldn't trip and fall while on a portage, and then you did. I hope the dip in the lake helped with any swelling of your knee. I'm also glad to hear that you have a go bag in the truck with some essentials in it. No, you aren't the only woman that appreciates a good multi tool. Not going to lie, I would love a good Leatherman on hand, unfortunately it's not in the budget right now. It is what it is. Keep up the good work. Take care and be well. Much love to you and yours from Vancouver BC.
Poor Grizz, those skeeters were no joke! I even started scratching..haha I actually got a throw and covered up watching.. crazy how a mosquito can mess with one's mind.. Enjoyed the adventure!❤️
Thanks for another great video. Also, you picked the best multitool. Between the first one, stupid me had to give it up at the airport, and second one I been using same model since 2009. No diffects, even considering i have second one for only 5 years. But I keep my on mee all the time and seems like I find a use for it everyday. Nails, quick tuch up with a file if camping for days and good sharpening stone is too far, gut hook is the best to un-do zap-straps and tight small coards. Seems like more time i had it on me more reasons I had to use it.
Hi. Always have Arnica with you for sprains and ensure that it is an herbal preparation and not a homeopathic one. I also like Witch Hazel for insect bites, especially bee stings.
I consider myself to have some decent upper body strength (sailing helps) but there is no way in hell I could ever carry my canoe on my shoulders. You get major props! Glad you didn't seriously hurt yourself! It could have been SO much worse (what if you hit your head!!) Gorgeous area you hiked in! Congrats on the colab with the brewery!
Not only carrying her canoe but also a pack full of gear and food. However it's not quite as hard as it looks but true you must be in shape. Mostly leg work.
Hard work but the scenery and experience make it worth it. Good points about the grab bag and Leatherman. And your own beer. Nice. Your videos make me smile.
I have always been knowing you to be tough and outdoors and with Grizzer. But it was so lonesome when he was down. Now, Griz is back to being way more normal. So good to see you two out and about. Nice area and looks crazy cool, waterfalls and swimming.. Better then this 105 108 we been having here.
You might want to check out the Zoleo satellite messaging system when you are out of cellphone range. They are about half the cost of the the Garmin InReach. I bought one a couple months ago from Cabela's and used it to stay in contact with my wife & daughter on a recent overnight camping trip with my son-in-law and 2 grandchildren. It is easy to use & worked flawlessly.
im bummed that i cant get your beer here in the USA!!! there is not even a option to get it shipped here!!! loved the video, beautiful waterfall & country there!!! rub Grizzs ear for me.. thanks for sharing & be safe out there!!!
HI ALEXIS 👋 GLAD YOU WERE OK WITH YOUR FALL ! GRIZZ & YOU LOOK VERY HAPPY ! GRIZZ LOOKS GREAT TOO 👍 UNTIL NEXT TIME BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 THANK YOU 🙏 GOD BE WITH YOU ALWAYS ON YOUR ADVENTURES 🙏
What a great idea to explore some of the less well travelled areas of the park. And to come across such a beautiful spot was just icing on the cake. Gonna have to try this on one of my upcoming trips.
Thanks Doug, hope you're getting out on many trips this season! This trip was fun and challenging, and definitely rewarding to find such a great spot too.
love the vidoes. especially with grizz back. thanks for sharing. very relaxing. can't wait to hear about the beer. stay safe out there.. much love from Michigan

You are a badass!! Good to see the team back together doing things that you love.
A tip I do is keep a few bottles of insect repellent in either the back seat pockets or in the door of the truck for those just in case times
So good to see Griz back to health and you out having fun with your puppy!
Wow! What a trip! I really loved the falls! Thanks for taking us along for the ride, and please be careful especially on your solo trips! So awesome to see Grizz out enjoying himself again! Take care and love, hugs and peace!😀✌

A Canoe has a centered yoke, which balances it on your shoulders. That canoe probably weighs less than 25 pounds.

I went through there in the late 80's but from Achray Station. Even if all you do is camp in the Barron Canyon you will have a great time. You can walk along rapids and climb in for a shower in many spots. Great access point. That sure was a stretch to get the canoe off of the truck! Love your adventures so try not to get hurt please.
Keep gettin it beast. Whata good pup. Loved the ride along to an amazingly beautiful place. Hope to make it there one day
Great trip! Sure looks like Grizz missed adventuring! Glad he's back and healthy!
