Gorgeous! I always love using hot glue and molds. For some reason I feel like it cracks less and it's just so much easier to use and I love all the little tidbits and history that you give us behind each project. Thanks for sharing
So glad you enjoy my history bits Annie! Sometimes I find some amazing facts and realize that we've been making the same things for thousands of years!
Really happy you like the history. I try to find interesting facts but it's not always the easiest. Still, I like to know why we make the things we make.
Oooh love trays❣️I love what you did with them, kinda decadent❗️The black with bright colored roses, plus the extravagant molds‼️😻 Hey Mark, how about you give us a tour of your home⁉️ I’d love to see some of your creations in your settings ❣️🤩
Wow the trays are just stunning 😍. Such a wonderful project to do . You always make such gorgeous projects. Have a wonderful week end. And of course stay safe.
Hello sweet Mark! These trays are ohhhh so pretty!!! A lil o' this, a lil o' that, and voila, serving up some style for your home!!! Stay cool, and healthy sweets!!! 🍃🤗🍃
Oh these are so elegant, I to hunt for interesting trays, the older trays are way more sturdier than the stuff made today. They were made to last. I also love a black background for florals. thanks for sharing sweet Mark !
Hi Mark! Your creativity, your research, those spectacular results and the blooper! Thanks for the inspiration! Wishing you love, hugs and a creative weekend!
Oh my gosh!!! Now I want to go thrifting for some trays! I finally bought a surebonder glue gun…didn’t think a glue gun could make a difference but it does. Thanks for all these awesomely amazing ideas!!!
Hi Mark! How romantic are these trays!? So stunning. I especially love the small rectangle one with the big rose embellishments that should overpower it, but just don't. Sigh! Prima was so smart to bring you on for their redesign line, it was meant for your style! 💕
Oh my gosh Mark, these are so beautiful, I have seen these kinds of trays in thrift stores and have actually wondered if I should grab one and figure out how to upscale it, but your upscale is the bomb, and now it's made me want to run to the thrift store and see if I can find a tray that I could make into one of these beautiful versions, I was actually in a thrift store this last week and saw a tray that looked really vintage and cool, maybe I will go back over there and see if it is still there and pick it up. Thanks so much Mark for another wonderful video, I hope you have a great weekend, sending love and many hugs, bye for now. 🥰🤗💜👏
G'day fromOz Mark 😉 Lovely lil project but was fascinated to know it was yet another woman who came up with the original idea..unreal. Thanks mate, always love the projects but really love the snippets of history too. Thanku 😍
I NEEDED THIS. Thank you just got a gorgeous prima mold that I have used with paper clay, and some air dry clay.. They're awesome. I didn't know you could.use hot glue w them(altho it totally makes sense) and I just picked up a really nice bamboo tray with boring pastel accents I want to paint and give as a gift. This was perfect~got.my imagination going and love that there's another way I can use that mold. It is the first one I bought from prima and honestly, the quality of that mold is amazing. It's the Montmartre corners mold and I'm obsessed. I even made partial molds using just some of the edges that I wanted and they turned out perfect. Thanks!
😂 I love your bloopers. Hey, I'm going to have to get a part-time job just so I can go buy everything I need to buy at Redesign With Prima. And it's all your fault Mr. Montano. I love what you did with those trays. ❤❤❤ Taupey
Mark, I see you used the time you were incapacitated with your back to good use! I have a whole box of wood trays and I think I know what I’m going to do with some of them! I like what one of your viewers, @Margaret Cardera said. They are decadent!!
Mark, these are great. Thank you for the ideas. One practical concern though. You glued 3-d molds inside the tray on tye carrying flat surface. This looks gorgeous as a decor and jewelry display but a bit awkward for caring items on it. I don't know if you want to explain it for the people who are unfamiliar with the 3-d molds.
Hi mark I've been a very long time fan and you have been quite an inspiration! I hope this is not too forward & I wanted to ask for some advice but I was trying to search for your show on CreateTV and just wondering why you don't do CreateTV anymore. I wanted to submit for an art show for the channel myself. I was also wondering what particular camera did you use to shoot the series( was it 4k or above?) Also I notice the format for your show here is quite different from the show on PBS, is that one of the keys to being on that channel? To stick with THAT particular format ( DIY follow along show as you do it in a studio film set , without alot of jump cuts or direct overhead 180 degree shots it seems, just very natural and straight forward shoot on film set in real time without fancy editing or footage taken from outside the studio film set).. I know you do alot of product /brand mentions on your private channel here and that's not allowed on PBS, and perhaps that's one of the reasons you stick with your youtube show instead of pbs? Thx regardless and have a great day!!!♥☻☺
Hey Helena, I've been dealing with a back issue and it's hampering my time in the studio. It's been rough, but honestly, I'm happy and getting back to work and loving it.

Another great tutorial. Shared video 💓🐞❤️
You're a sweetheart Lala!
Nice! Is there a way to dress up floating shelves? I have some, but they look so cheap because they are cheap floating shelves
Hi Cindy, I always like a decorative wood trim around the edge. You can get it at Home Depot and have it cut to size.
Where'd you get the papers from again?
