- Our favorite insect kaiju's two most famous transformations are now gracing my collection. In this video, Steve goes over his recent purchase from Rich Eso of Fresh Vinyl Reviews - the Bandai Rebirth of Mothra Armored and Aqua Mothra. These are from the film Rebirth of Mothra 2 and 3. I got both for $130 (I think it was $60 for armored). I seen him at the convention selling for around $120 but I would say if you can get him for around $80ish, your doing pretty good.

There is a fire type Mothra.
Mothra 2004 transformed into Fire Mothra from Godzilla Final Wars albeit briefly.
Fun fact I believe aqua mothra was used to chase dagarah when it was underwater and it could only be used by rainbow and not leo

Hey how did you get your DesGhidorah' wings and heads in that position? I also have this figure and am worried about the wings drooping... Did you use hot/cold? I'd truly appreciate hearing your experience.
Mothra is a name of Giant Moth from 1961 Mothra film. And Fan-Made Mothra is a Human version, human version it's so beautiful and chubby.
If mothras larva have so many variations of adult forms....its cool.

Fire Mothra Leo would have been badass. Megaman X2 had Morph Moth which I wish would have been the fire Reploid of the game. Fire type Mothra Pokémon or Digimon would be pretty awesome

Great review! I think you've sold me on getting the Aqua Mothra at some point. I love the vibrant wings on it. It's pretty cool to see a figure like this, since usually monsters seem to go for darker and less pop out colors. I don't think I've ever heard Mothra compared to Eevee before. Well, Umbreon is my favorite Pokemon so I approve of this statement. lol

Honestly I would like to see the Rebirth of Mothra forms get the S.H Figuarts treatement, Mothra Leo, Rainbow Mothra, Aqua Mothra, Armored Mothra, Eternal Mothra and the Prehistoric Mothra Larva then More will be looking into them and give more mothra love.
I would just love more Mothra stuff in general, even if they went with Dagarah or Grand King Ghidorah
Does the peg hole on the bottom of Mothra Leo/Rainbow Mothra work with tamashii stage act arms?
No. The only way to use the Tamashii stands is to balance it on their with the clamps open (and it is going to still be wobbly)

I know that Rainbow Mothra and Mothra Leo have different coloured wings but i have seen the two variants sometimes with green eyes, sometimes with blue eyes, can someone explain me what are the differences between them two?
