it’s funny how people say lance is bad… the weather was awful and he still played well.
Hes started wha 3 games?? People need to chill
When you see all his completions and runs, he looks pretty decent.
It’s everything else that needs to improve. Awareness in the pocket, faster release on throws, etc.
Dude…shut up
When you said “awareness in the pocket” you lost it, you just say and watched this footage and still didn’t see the footage
@@bambam6537 I only understand coherent messages.
Trey’s pocket presence in this game was god awful. Under pressure he’s too indecisive. That’s what I’m saying needs to improve.
When the o-line is sturdy, he plays much better, but still needs to improve accuracy and field vision.
Does that make more sense now?
Saw a clip of a different angle of 0:46 so I had to come watch this. Man I'm so tired of the BCB hype both these young dudes are studs but Lance didn't get good play calling like Purdy has been getting smh Kyle man.
True
2 years from now he gonna look so good in a cowboys uniform. We winning the 2026 Super Bowl w Lance behind center tossing it to CeeDee, Cooks, an with Pollard running wild behind that Oline an our top 2-3 defense
One thing that frustrated me about Lance, was his inability to make plays under pressure, to evade or scramble. Grop can't do it, and Lance was disappointedly bad in those situations. Purdy is doing it all. I mean yeah its a few games, but he's throwing dimes, scrambling like Fran Tarkenton lol. Not saying Lance cant improve and be good, but you can see Purdy is more polished. Next year will be an interesting QB decision
Whoever sees this early is a goat.
Texans fan here. He looks pretty decent. Given time, I think he can develop into a star like Josh Allen.
From These plays Lance doesn't look bad at all.
he was throwing very good the first half, should've had more passing plays. if deebo never fumbles who know how this game turns out. definitely need to work on the redzone.
He gonna get hurt if they keep running him like that , them hits gonna add up
They already have you know he's soar after that game.
Maybe he should play Tennis.
Maybe if he chose to slide instead of go head on with the defender the runs wouldn't be a problem
You say the same about Josh Allen too?
@@bambam6537 yeah if he’s taking hits and not dodging them
48% pass completion with a complete offseason to get comfy with his receivers.
Purdy at 64%. I know who qb1 and qb2 next season
1 game my guy not to mention it was the first one purdy got more weeks to get better than lance
One had cmc one didn’t
This was week 1 buddy in pouring down rain lmao
And no Kittle
Bro Purdy had a completely different team to work with when he had his number called. O line was figured out Defense didnt give up 12 penalties for 99 in a single game and let Pettis score two huge TDs not to mention Purdy had CMC so chill on those pass completion percentages...
I forgot defense lost us this game soooo many ppl talked sooo much trash on trey but 6 penalties for 55 yards in the second half vs bears 0/0
didn’t my boy deebo fumble too
Right side of our OL was bad this game
Burford graded higher than all of his line mates. So, just say McGlinch.
He’s solid
I believe in the kid!
Bruh Lance needs to learn to slide. Or Jimmy G is going to be back out there in no time
They’re gonna start like 1-4 and jimmy is gonna be back again, lol, that team is Súper bowl ready, can’t swing for that dude to grow up.
@@salvadorochoa2098 Jimmy go win the super Bowl ? We seen this story it all end with Him folding .. ya keep acting like Jimmy about to win a super bowl Yet no team wants him
@@juiceloose2462 Lmao it be casuals like u who just be chatting. Teams wanted Jimmy but 49ers wanted a high draft pick in return. Bro led a team to the super bowl and 2 nfc championships he’s a QB who can come in and help any team.
@@salvadorochoa2098 Jimmy doesn't win games on hid back. What makes you think he's going to win a SuperBowl? Hemm he lost one
@@QRobNYC ain’t nobody want that low end QB. He couldn’t even find a trade for himself! If a QB is good enough they trade for them. Couldn’t even get a bacon egg and cheese sammich for that fool. Keep that silly take to yourself for goodness sake.
the rain def won this one for the bears. No doubt in my mind Trey will get things better and going smoother week 2 and forward!
@GwendolynDHill aged well huh 😆
Deboo samuel is my fav niner as a KC fan
He looks good in this game
Lance>Jimmy The Cricket. SF fans just be patient with this kid even though I know some will want him benched.
This
Exactly be patient
Exactly, it doesn’t even make sense to call somebody a bust after 1 game or even 1 season. Peyton Mannjng was ass during his rookie year but look at him now.
Lance will be benched in a few weeks
@@419HLR no, the Colts were trash his rookie year. Peyton displayed tons of flashes of brilliance his rookie year. He threw alot of picks yea, but he displayed he could run an offense at the professional level and was doing alot of it with no help from his skill players. Lance just looks completely lost
Look at the run at 2:28 he runs Hesitant. You can’t run like that in the NFL and survive long.
First game
It looks to me that he is waiting for his blockers to create lanes to run through
He's not as fast as he thinks he is, people make it seem like he's as fast as Kap was and he's really not that quick by NFL standards
Just a stupid comment
Bro nobody sustained their blocks lol what do you expect him to do he had 3 bears closing in on him cause they shed their blocks lol
This guy has a good chance to become the next Ryan Leaf.
you’re a dumb ass
Such an upgrade over Jimmy. Lance will bring the Lombardi trophy back to San Francisco
It’s clear as day to me. Get that man some interior lineman and a legit #1, and kittle on the field, look out. The fact this kid had 1 season in college and he’s doing what he’s doing to me is amazing. He’s only gonna get better. Get gettin them reps Trey we believe in you!
You call completing 46% of his throws with no tds, a pick and a fumble an upgrade?
@@TheMarti70 it’s the eye test. He has talent.
@@ItsVes999 where?? People keep saying this but he still hasn't shown it. He's not a great runner, he struggles to make the most basic NFL throws consistently, please point to what amazing talent he's hiding?
@@TheMarti70 is not a great runner, but avoided multiple would-be sacks and turned them into first downs. L take
How TF the 49ers Owns the Guy Who Owns Chicago But They Got Owned By Chicago😂😂😂😂
Rock Paper Scissors
The bears aren’t that good and the niners weren’t disciplined enough that’s why the bears were getting so many yards up because of the penalties
Bro make sense
@@TheItalianMafias but today we was better than San Francisco keep on sleeping on the Bears
@@OGKNUCLEHEADFOE yeah I’ll sleep because they ain’t going to get better like always. That’s what the bear fans say don’t sleep on the bears then proceed to lose and never make it the playoffs
Anybody else get Kaep vibes at first?
No way there’s highlights of him handing the ball off😂
You know what I take everything I said about Jimmy G back.
I’m sorry Jimmy for calling you pretty boy Trent Dilfer.
You don’t have to apologize for telling the truth
Trey Lance will show you fools just watch
I didn't see this game but all I heard was how was crazy monsoon, but this doesn't seem bad.
lol obviously the camera makes it look better
I was there trust me it was horrible, the stairs looked like a waterfall
Monsoon boys like to make excuses for their bust boy Lance.
Truth is Fields played in the same “monsoon” and did well. 😂
Kyle be getting my boy trey5 destroyed 🤦🏾♂️
Alot of those runs are on Lance. He needs to learn these linebackers are big too lol slideeeee
Bro who runs a qb power on 3rd and 13 I just can’t get over these play calls
Trey Lance highlights: 4 yard pass in 3rd and 9.
That says a lot.
Cowboys!!!
This is perfect evidence of how Kyle Shanahan never learns his lesson. He's using his QB as a RB. He must think he's clever and no one has ever thought of this. Yeah, there's a reason why other teams don't use their QB consistently as a RB. Because in the very next game, Lance got injured out for the season. This isn't the first time this has happened to Shanahan. Probably won't be the last.
Get lance nice and strong thats all he needs
My body hurts jus watchin the hits trey took he kinda shifty tho
If he didn't get injured he'd be good this year
As a saints fan how much would y'all want for Lance
Purdy would run maybe once or twice a game, and definitely no design runs like kyle has trey running into the teeth of a defense. Didn't take long to snap that ankle in week 2 , wonder how trey would've held up if he the dink n dunk passing game Purdy was running on
Trey lance the goat
We going to Philly
Can’t wait for the home opener go niners !
Everything will work out as it should. GO NINERS!
Lance isn't a good enough runner to keep taking that risk, he stutter steps a lot and dances with his feet, still needs to work on his decisiveness
He was a runner in college but in the nfl idky Kyle is running him so much he’s a thrower that can run
Not to hate, but he threw 28 times and completed 46% of his passes for 164 yards. He ended this game with a QBR of 31.8
Just a friendly reminder this is a highlight tape
Making plays? Bro what his rating was 50 💀
Burrow had 4 interceptions today. Should the bengals cut him ? Mac was horrible. Fields didn't do much. Relax. Week 1 rain game. Let's give up on a 22 year old
@@yeshedid I’m not giving up on him, but he definitely wasn’t makin plays
@@Rykeriscool1 kinda feels like shannahan is still trying to figure out how to use him. He had a bunch of 1sts with his legs. Couple really nice throws. The bs aiuyk PI..bad deebo drop. Where's the roll outs? Stop running him like a battery ram
Lance had a better qbr and more yards than fields. You wont respond to me bc i shut you down
@@denilsoncalderon1952 shut me down? Dog you listed 2 things, he had like 45 attempts, had a horrible rating, and a horrible ypa
Settle down and play kid. That's all we need you to do.

Bring Back Jimmy G
He gonna stay on that bench
@@Dtones_3 😂
😭😭😭😭😭
I didn’t see a monsoon until 7 minutes in the 4th so there goes that excuse.
Idk I like Purdy and his movements. Lance seems stiff when he runs
XFL Prospect
Man Trey Lance was ballin! To bad Crying Brian Griese only wanted Purdy! Notice Kyle Shanahan not picking the Qb he wanted cause his daddy Mike insisted he listened to Griese. Mike Shanahan + Crying Brian Griese = falling short in the Superbowl! 🤢🤢🤢
Lance is a wash.
@janossario3527 who can tell,he hasn't played. Purdy sux, runs a 4.9er. Can't throw and starts games at. 39.1! 🤮🤮🤮
@@theophilusone7 I was surprised that they lost the Super Bowl.
@zechariahcameron3645 I wasn't..it's called a triple option!
I like Trey I believe in him but I want Purdy. Lance does not run the 49ers system good. When I saw purdy come in Week 13 I believe against the dolphins after Jimmy G got hurt that’s when I knew purdy was our guy. He played 4 years of college football and has a high iq of football and a quick throwing motion. You need a quick throwing motion to play in this 49er system. That’s why Jimmy G did alr but he was slow, couldn’t extend plays and could only throw in the middle 15 yards away
Anyone can be quarterback with that defensive
Just came to let the known knowing football fan that Shanahan didn’t run him into the ground. You guys watch Hurts and all them guys this year? Lance gotta run lower and not hesitate.
All trey fans are cowboys fans now
How is that first play a Lance highlight you kidding me bro
Good player, but gets rocked too often
After seeing these highlights, this style doesn’t hold up for a long time. Brock Purdy had the style that could last 15 years. Trade Lance.
In summary, these are highlights of Trey Lance and the 49ers 19-10 LOSS to the Chicago Bears who finished the season 3-14.
