I want more male and perhaps monster-type characters primarily to aid in world-building. The plethora of female characters hurt WuWa's world-building and narrative if they're in an absurd ratio kike how it is currently. Couldn't care less about the characters' gender as long as they wouldn't hurt the ludonarrative. Not into the parasocial stuff. Now, I'll wait for Zani and Brandt. 😂
As for Phoebe, I admire her 3d model, just look at her hair, how detail they sculpted her hair. I find her 3d model beautiful. As for Brant, I also like his fine model, but yeah we still need more male character in the game.
Phoebe is the design I like the least, maybe it's the hat, and more after seeing Kataxiya. I am eager though to see her gameplay, and really wish she would be Jinhsi's proper sun dps.
I knew it, the splash art cant really do justice compared to their actual in game model, they look more beautiful and better with the model instead splash art.

@@an1sXD Well even if his buff is only for 1 unit, We'll just have 2x intro with Jiyan. Since Jiyan is main dps he should take all the buff first. But all the 5star healers in the game right now buffs the whole party, so if Brant is a healer then His buff should be full party buff too.
Wow, Katixiya is just bombshell Phoebe. Role wise for me what would make sense (how I would like them to fit), is for Phoebe be the Spectro sub dps for Jinhsi, Brant be the Aero sub dps for Jiyan, and Zani be the Fusion main dps for Changli.
I've heard a rumor that the aero sub-dps coming in 2.x is the 3rd version of Rover. I don't know if that rumor was legit or if maybe it got scrapped, but I'm guessing it's still quite possible considering we'll probably get the last 3 resonance chains for havoc Rover, and then we could end up with a new version as well.

As a previous calculator main (before XY) and previous Xiangli Yao main, I kinda feel dissapointed a bit when I know Zani is going to be the 3rd electro DPS in the game while 5 star electro character missing out role like sub DPS and a healer. How about I just use full team electro DPS then 😅 this sounds like a fun idea. But I'd take this as a grain of salt since this is a leak, hopefully they changed her either element or role. The wuthering waves reddit leaked that that new chararacter aka katixya isnt actually the sentinels resonator. She js a new type of resonator that will be introduced in fact she is the resonator for a threnodian. Ky guess is she will be the villain of 2.0. The leaks said the horse thing that lives in the sea isnt the actual sentinel. Its a threnodian that is linked to katixya and she pretends to be the sentinels appointed resonator and because of this was made the monarch of ragunna city. Thats why she has 6 stars on her resonator mark like jinhsi. My guess is the appointed resonators for the threnodians are like the sentinels appointed resonators but evil. This would also explain why brant also has a 6 star resonator mark. He probably is the resonator for the actual sentinel of ragunna. That would be the only explanation as to why he has a six star mark. Only jinhsi had it in huanglong and it was explained because she is the sentinels resonator.

My concern is how some of these characters are going to be necessary? We already have a strong electro main dps so how will Zani be worth pulling other than finding her interesting? Will she bring a different type of mechanics thats will be more useful in other game modes?
Pure fun, I think necessary will be brant, and phoebe, if she is aero, which would actually be much better than spectrum, but Zani will be pulled by many, even if it's not so "necessary"
I dont think Kuro is trying to make powercreep or trying to sell by meta anymore, it seems like they will want to sell by fun, making creative and fun gameplay + good design and story will make people pull the characters, and that should be the right way to sell characters, not by powercreep or necessity.

So since we already have a free strong electro then pulling her is a want not a need. Unless they add new gameplay and mechanics that make her more important to pull beyond being electro main dps.
