The bowed instrument played by Galaa and Enkush are morin khuur (horse head fiddle) which have two strings. Traditionally the male string was made from 132 tail hairs from a stallion, the female string from 120 strings from a mare. The guitar like instrument played by Temka is the tovshuur (Mongolian lute/guitar) which can have two or three strings, Temka’s has three.
As far as clans go - from the 1920s onwards the communists tried to destroy many aspects of Mongolian culture including outlawing surname/clan names. Many families forgot their actually clan names and when communism fell and the new government decided that clan names were needed again families gathered to see if any of their elderly could remember their original clan name and if it could not be remembered they selected new clan names.

We came from the same ancestor when the continent was connected, long story short we got separated when the glaciers bridge broke off ( Siberia and Alaska). We all have similar clothing designs and the meaning they represent and Most of all our Shamans and their healing tools shared an identical purpose.

when ever they get to start traveling again and come back to America you should totally check out one of their concerts ,, The Hu band is awesome and what has impressed me the most about them is their connection with their fan group ,, one video of one of their concerts even though there was a fence between them and the fan's not one of the band members did not hasate to go and shake hands with their fans and interact with them. That right there says a lot about them, and the music might not can understand a word of what they are saying but you can feel it to the core of your soul.

Don't fear about "appropriating" : Mongols are happy about sharing their culture and seing other adopt it. I remember in Ulaa Bataar, during the Naadam festival a few years, there was a french musician who came to study and learn the morin khuur, and people were just happy to see him play. I mean, if someone come from the other side of the Earth to learn your culture, it's pretty cool. And even when a dude on the net is just captivated by what you do and just start to imitate it, well, that's cool too.

Wanted to know if you can make two reviews
one from " A Tribe called Red , called , " Neon Natives " . There is also a clip from John Trudell , I knew him before he passed away. That song gives me chicken skin everytime I hear it because what is going on in America and Canada.

From what I understand, it was four seperate migration waves thousands of years apart that is the ancestry of modern indigenous Americans. Most of these came from north east Asia, or Siberia, as did the Mongolic and Turkic (now living in central Asia, i.e Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan.) tribes. "Mongolian" didn't really mean much before Genghis/Chinggis Khaan united the tribes against the northern Chinese. So in short, native Americans share a common ancestor with modern north east Asians, but both have branched off into something significantly different since then. Especially when you consider that each migratory wave to the Americas were thousands of years apart, meaning it would have been a genetically distinct people migrating each time.

The wolf is the totem of the Khalka (Outer Mongolians). The Buryat and Kalmyk/Oirat in Russia's totem is the swan and the deer, respectively. The Khorchin in China is also the wolf. The others idk
During the Mongol Empire, all Mongols adopted the wolf as their totem because Genghis Khan is Borjigin Kiyat whose totem is the wolf. The Borjigin is the clan that established the Khamag Mongol, the confederacy that preceded the Mongol Empire and their totem was also the wolf. The first Khan of the Khamag Mongols was Khabul Khan, Genghis Khan's grandfather.

The Wolf Totem is the symbol of the Great Khan. Chinggis was from the Wolf Clan so his banner became to symbolise the Great Horde. They used to banners: the Black Banner for War and the the White Banner for peace. If you saw the Black Banner coming you need you were in trouble. The lyrics start of by listing the formations used in the Great Khans Army.
PS the Mountains in the beginning are the Altai Mountains.

Mongolia, a nation bordered by China and Russia, is known for vast, rugged expanses and nomadic culture. Its capital, Ulaanbaatar, centers around Chinggis Khaan (Genghis Khan) Square, named for the notorious founder of the 13th- and 14th-century Mongol Empire. Also in Ulaanbaatar are the National Museum of Mongolia, displaying historic and ethnographic artifacts, and the restored 1830 Gandantegchinlen Monastery.

Good on ya guy! Great reaction. And your ancestry gives you a take on this that I’ve never heard before. Actually, your singing/chanting isn’t bad. For real. Most people who first came to the Americas were from Asia. That’s when the last ice age locked up so much water that the oceans were low enough to create a land bridge. Recently, archaeological discoveries in southern South America were dated a couple of thousand years before any trace of humans in North America. That and other evidence indicates that the migration was probably done in boats along the coast. Maybe even from island hopping across the southern Pacific. All very interesting but who knows?

Nice reaction, bit of constructive criticism though:
Try two-'passes' when it comes to reacting to foreign music videos that have subtitles;.
-1st "Pass" should be a pure , primal experience. Just watch and listen to the music all the way through. React naturally but save thoughts.
-2nd "Pass" should be a stop-n-go with thoughts.
Musicians are artists too, you don't watch a painter paint all the way through a painting and stop to react to his techniques.
I'm finding alot of reaction channels do either or and the stop-n-go technique really takes away from a viewer having a 'moment' in experiencing what you're experiencing, allowing the energy of the music to just flow.
I'm just a TH-cam comment though, I like the energy you have and I love the idea of more Indigenous TH-camrs.

    • @CmanVlogga
      @CmanVlogga  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Cool.. i could see what you are saying.🙏🏽
I think i go about the way i do because it encompasses my creative process and learning process. Being a song maker (artist) for my cultural ways of song, i do bits and explore creative avenues. The same with learning.. like said: how I'm in my head alot, i have to visualize and really imagine what's going on and feel the vibe that's being created.
As far as commenting in the moment.. lol that's the kind of TH-cam commentator i am as well. I have multiple comments on videos because i comment where i feel like responding to something specifically. Because i feel like the focus gets lost on them moments if i don't address them individually or it may get lost in my explanation.
I do get what you're saying as well. I guess it's how I've always done it.. just thinking about workshops i used to present and all.. lol it's always been my way. 😂🤷🏾‍♂️
      Got me thinking tho... hmmmm
