About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.
In addition to Dude Dad©, I have been in numerous TV shows, commercials, and have regular appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I will also be hosting my own TV show called "Super Dad" on the new Magnolia Network / Discovery+. Heidi and the kids will also be a part of the show. As a mom, I so appreciate you dads sharing your experiences. It means a lot.
We did the suction thing too - turned out the cord was pulling him back in. Whoosh, he came right out and they wiped him off and put him on my warm chest with piles of warm blankets. It was amazing.
This was all awesome but the part that got me was when Taylor does the face the doctor makes when he asks if the suction is safe. 😂 3:50
Awww! Love this so much! Guys usually don't share their story about the birth of their first baby, with this much emotion. I almost started crying when Taylor cried.

Women have a jump on the guys. I talked to my baby. I told her her name. I explained who we were. I patted my tummy. I sang to her. In the delivery room she ignored the doctors, her dad, all of them. Her head was on a swivel and one eye was open. She heard me asking to see her. She found me and her face said I KNOW YOU! Which hard to do when youre covered in meconium. 💖
