Dude, even if you don't care about the door this video is worth watching for the "Glad I'm Done" song at the end. I felt that in my bones. But also this was a great video and inspired me to take on some DIY projects I've been putting off. Thank you!
LMBO...Screamin real hard with Laughter. Willie Mo' Jr woulda said he felt it in his "Sha na na". Thanks so much I needed to read this comment for a laugh. You made my day...LOL. I'm glad you were inspired. Have a blessed day
Awe thank you. After living with the black peel and stick I'm going to paint ALL my doors in my home black. This was a temporary setting to see if I can live with it. It was VERY taxing on my back but I'm glad I did it. TFW, glad you enjoyed the singing....LOL
OMG!!! For starters I have to see why am I not getting all your alerts! SMH!!! OMG to your determination, patience ect! Friend you did a phenomenal job!!!! Great job! No you didn’t make up your own spiritual song about your door!!! Lol I love it all friend! The song & the door!!!! A woman of many talents!!!! 🙌🏾
LOL....Thanks friend, its an old school tune that I randomly put my own words to...LOL. I don't know what happens that notifications aren't recieved. Its not the subscribers, it's a TH-cam thing that happens.
Lol...thank you. I love the black door, so I'll paint it later next year. I just want to see how long the peel and stick contact paper will last. TFW my friend.
Absolutely beautiful. The paper is an awesome idea. I painted one side of my door. You have inspire me to paint the other side now. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Forlisa. I'm glad I inspired you. I did it to see if I wanted it in this space. I like the look of the black door and I will paint it in the future. I appreciate you watching. Blessings to you and your family. Have a wonderful weekend.
How do you do it around the door knob? I was hoping you would show it on this video. I am thinking about doing the same on my door but have no idea how to apply it around the door knob. 🤔🤔🤔
Hello Stephanie... I'm so sorry that I didn't show that. I just laid the paper up against the knob on each side, top and bottom and cut around the knob. Here's a link to a video where I did the same process around a tub faucet attachment...it's the same concept. th-cam.com/video/2hxj0VyvrIw/w-d-xo.html Start at 4:44 time mark, if you don't want to watch the entire video. I hope this helps.
This looks so NICE, why not leave it? Was that wallpaper lightly textured or have a matte finish? Did you already remove the contact paper and paint the door? Contact paper maybe more affordable/easier, especially when having to apply a couple of coats of paint. Also, if primer was separate that’s another step to consider.
Hi. I put in on to see if I'd like it in a narrow space. I do like it, its a matte finish with no texture. It's still on the door. Some areas pull away due to temperature change, but all I do is adhere it using a blow dryer. Since I plan to relocate to Florida next year, I will just remove it. I will share a video to show how it held up and show removing it. I've paused uploading DIY and Decorate with Me videos until I begin to move, and I'm focused on working on another channel to begin 2025. I hope you take the time to watch my other diy videos. Thanks for watching. Blessings
Yes, it was pretty easy...just time consuming because of the molding. I used REMOVABLE and ADJUSTABLE peel and stick contact paper so that I can Reposition it whenever I was applying it to correct any errors. I can also remove it when I actually get ready to paint it, with no damage to my door. I appreciate you watching.
Love this video! Excellent tutorial. What is the name of the contact paper that you used? Would you mind sharing the link for the contact paper? Thanks!!!
Thank you. Sure I will send you the link. I purchased it from Amazon.Peel and Stick Solid Color Black... www.amazon.com/dp/B07H42X6KZ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. Thanks for watching. Blessings

do you think this would work on the front side of the door in cold winters?
I don't believe it will hold up against wet, cold winters.
everything is so beautiful
Awe thank you mych....I really appreciate you watching. Blessings
Why didn't you just paint it?
In the video I stated that I wanted to test to see if I would like a black door before I commit to painting it black. I appreciate you watching.
Is there an update after you paint your walls?
Are you referring to the walls in the Foyer Entry??? I'm unable to see which video you are referring to
This is wayyy easier than what I was trying to do. Unfortunately though my paper is a print.
